Why do people rate Canelo's resume so high, even relative to GGG's?

I actually like Lara a lot but I would favor GGG to stop him...who knows though

But yeah Angulo got to Lara fairly easily

And Angulo was much better than GGG in every way lol

Even without the two GGG-Canelo fights with each other...let's just look at some names:

Canelo's good wins - Trout (never scored/watched it all), Lara (I had Canelo 7-5), Jacobs (7-5), Smith (good KO), Cotto (shot and at a higher than best weight...but good win), Kirkland (KO), Angulo (KO), Fielding (KO).

Canelo's OK wins - Lopez, Cintron, Chavez, Mosley, Baldomir, Khan.

GGG's good wins (besides Jacobs all KOs) - Jacobs (8-4 imo), Murray, Brook, Lemieux, Monroe, Geale, Macklin, Proksa, Ouma, Stevens, Vanes.

GGG's OK wins (all KOs) - Rosado, Adama, Rubio, Ishida, Rolls.

GGG has more good wins imo...and more dominant in most of those wins...winning by KO and hardly losing a round...and more OK/Good wins total, almost all by KO...compared to quite a few decisions for Canelo.

That's without even getting into the 2 Canelo-GGG fights which I felt were pretty straightforward wins for GGG...outlanding Canelo in 18/22 rounds (2 ties)...that's 80+% of the rounds that he was outlanding Canelo...pretty impressive on that for sure.

So genuinely - what am I missing?

Edit - not to mention the clear loss Canelo has to Mayweather...but I don't really slight him for that...he was pretty green then and it was not an ideal weight for him.

This has got to be the Dumbest thread I've ever seen on here!
Look at the past champions and even some HOFers Canelo has faced and beat. GGG has only Jacobs who most think beat him and Canelo who did beat him decisively!
There is no comparison and Canelo was young and is still technically young 28 years of age with a resume that only Manny Pac. can beat as fighters still boxing and you ask what he's done!!! SMDH🤨🤨

I broke down specifically why GGG's was better imo...and it should go without saying that facing certain guys at the right time is not the same as beating them at their peak/best self/weight.

Also I saw GGG win 8-4 vs Danny...and all the judges had that one over before the 10th round..as did I...I thought Canelo beat Danny clearly...7-5...but it seems like a lot of Canelo fans really really want that narrative to be true that Canelo destroyed Jacobs while GGG struggled...and in my view GGG had an easier road vs Jacobs than Canelo did.

Not that it really matters but the judges in those fights said GGG won by 7 points total...and Canelo won by 8 points total lol...and this of course is with GGG fighting in Danny's backyard...and Canelo fighting in his own backyard.

So yeah I think that narrative being pushed about the Jacobs' fights seems to be backed in wants rather than facts...from what I saw in the ring anyway.

            Golovkin's hits.....
            - Jacobs *
            - Murray

            Golovkin's misses.....
            - Lara
            - Cotto
            - Mora
            - Saunders
            - Andrade
            - Charlo
            - Derevyanchenko

Your forgetting all about Ward. Remember GGG said he would fight anybody from 154-168 and had several talks with Ward yet always *****ed out. He loves can drivers or Rolls type fighters. I used to like GGG but the way he has been avoiding everybody lately tells me that he was and is not the fighter I thought he was.
And on another note. I'm my opinion and many others Canelo beat GGG defensively in the first fight and beat GGG at his own game in the 2nd. I also see no need for a 3rd fight.

Lara broke his face, you moron

this post, was a glaring example of your ineptitude and ******ity

that was real dumb man..... even dumber than creating a thread to twist the words of Steve Weisfeld, without realizing that Weisfeld was an official judge who scored that fight for Canelo

              not your best work

the guy LITERALLY said that Murray and Lemieux are better than Cotto and Lara

Your a delusional GGG fanboy clearly. I used to box amateur and have watched EVER major fight and PPV sense the 80's. I am normally spot on with my judging with some of the best.
GGG clearly at very best got a Draw with Jacobs! I can care less how they scored it because they scored it to get a Canelo vs GGG fight.
Canelo as one judge had it 8-4 on Jacobs truly. I gave the Jacobs fight as I said best a draw but I thought Jacobs truly won by a round.
As for my 10 best wins on what and who.
I've seen so many what are you asking?
I mean go back to Floyd vs Castillo#1 and tell me your score on it. Then Oscar vs Tito, Oscar vs Shane#2.
Hell I want to see how you score some fights but from what your saying you go just on aggression regardless if punches missed etc..
                  It's called effective aggression.

I think that both fights were scored correctly

in 5 rounds of the first fight, ALL 3 judges awarded those rounds to Canelo..... Canelo won those 5 rounds CLEANLY, and EASILY..... so, any talk of a robbery will only be echoed by ***wits like the muppet who created this thread

the other rounds were all nip-n-tuck, and very close..... Canelo should have done more in those middle rounds, but I have no problem with anyone edging that fight to Canelo, or to Golovkin

let's face it..... in Vegas, against a superstar..... G was lucky to keep his titles..... I have seen way worse decisions than that, Ward/Kovalev I, for one

the munter who created this thread, LITERALLY stated that Lemieux and Murray are better than Cotto and Lara

we schooled him about that IN HIS OWN THREAD

Boxing1013 created a thread misquoting Steve Weisfeld

Boxing1013 attempted to remove defence, ring generalship, and effective aggression, as scoring criteria..... to justify why he thinks Golovkin beat Canelo in their rematch

                      but.....

Boxing1013 had NO IDEA that Steve Weisfeld was AN OFFICIAL JUDGE at the Canelo/Golovkin rematch..... and Weisfeld scored that fight for Canelo looool
