GGG has not done one damn thing to make the press and public excited about a 3rd fight with Canelo. All he does is complain and whine. He then tries to get DAZN to pressure GB to get him a rematch. He has not done one thing inside the ring to get anyone excited about another rematch. He has not brought anything to the table except entitlement.

If you can't see how entitled Canelo is then you need to get your eyes tested.

if its not in the contract to fight lilg a 3rd time they are gonna be shit outta luck in all aspects
I don't think Jacobs was in the contract, but Jacobs got promised a shot by DAZN & he got it.

I'm 99.9% sure there is wording in the contact that gives DAZN leverage with opponents, but I highly doubt it names specific fighters, GGG or otherwise. But I don't think you need to name specific opponents cuz I bet they can also say we'll pay you $20M for the opponent of your choice or $40M for GGG or something along those lines or not unlike TR/Arum does in a different way when guys don't agree to options or doesn't sign an extension.

Guess we will see where the cards fall. Who Canelo and GGG fight next will really show what kind of power and influential capacity is being held by all sides. And that might give us a hint a what the contracts have as far as expectations are concerned.
I suspect Canelo might have some leeway right now in fairness so idk if it necessarily means as much if Canelo vs Rolls happens next. He had an easy fight vs Fielding. He took a serious fight vs Jacobs. So he might have an easy fight next idk. It wouldn't shock me if thats the case. That said as a fan I don't give two sh^ts about the easy fight, hard fight logic a lot of mfers are on about these days. I think The Champion in any division should be fighting a top 3, top 5 guy every time out. Fielding wasn't that so that was a bad look. If he fights another non-top 5 guy it'll be another bad look for Canelo since he's The Champion at 160. But if he don't care about all that fair play I guess.

Jacobs wanted a crack at Canelo before he even went to DAZN, still on HBO with Matchroom USA.

1.) Jacobs had a strap, Champ, Unification
2.) looks good on Canelo’s resume

The fight made sense. GGG too makes sense because they’re on the same network.

I’m sure Oscar and Loeffler behind the scenes have wanted this. For Oscar it’s a win win situation because he knows it’s up to Canelo, so Oscar could drink up with Loeffler and speculate excitement though GBP already had a nice deal with DAZN without Loeffler so in reality it’s been Tom who’s naive. Then again Tom has a platform with 360 and his role running GGG Promotions.

He needed corrupt judging to beat GGG. Additionally, he has been alot of fighters out of their prime. He tested positive for PED's. This isn't elementary school. Upset because you were called a cheater. No.... Canelo understands that the PED'S were essential in his ability to stand in front of GGG. Those PED'S are waning & he doesnt want to go another 12 rounds with GGG. If not, he should fight & knock out GGG, which we know he doesnt have the ability to do... Big Facts

He wants EVERYTHING his way. That is how.

That makes sense because who Canelo chooses is proportional to what he would get paid and while they are hoping Canelo chooses top opponents so that he and DAZN can make top money, if Canelo chooses lessor opponents, he gets paid less. Maybe similar to how they work with GGG. And maybe the 320 million and the 100 million contracts are the aggregate of a mix of top fighters and lessor fighters and that those numbers are based on picking a solid selection of opponents, and maybe less than those high numbers if they do not. My guess is DAZN knows what Canelo would bring in fighting a GGG vs an Andrade vs a Fielding type and they plan accordingly. With all that money at stake, DAZN probably as you said, assigns a value to each opponent and pay accordingly.

He made more against Floyd than one GGG fight. Combined he made more. But the one Floyd fight made him more than any one GGG fight. That's why I said against the right fighter. He also did over a million against Chavez Jr. His lowest selling PPV almost doubles GGG's 2 PPV's without Canelo.
