    That was a joke...

Point is if you were cool with GGG taking part of an “exhibition” and not throw body punches, means you’re cool with GGG being Team Canelo and taking the bag.

So why are you upset of the exhibition. GGG was happy. GGG even loved page 24 of the script:

“GGG walks out of the ring, upset, the crowd is booing.”

Exactly! Paid him $100 mil for one fight. Canelo vs the dude outside McDonald's is going to bring subscribers. GGG vs his usual tomato cans don't bring in subscribers. They expect Canelo to carry the whole network.

I wasn't upset by those "exhibitions"... I only lost interest in the second fight (which I repeatedly said it here from the beginning)...

... and the fact that the "trilogy" is stalling actually shows that canelo is still afraid of the old man as he will come all in... that's it...

I don't care much if they fight again or not... I only express my view over the situation... but whatever...

thats some hurt feelings sht right here if I've ever heard it. Canelo has literally just come off of convincingly schooling Jacobs (if floyd schooled canelo then nelo schooled jacobs)hes in the middle of negotiating a fight & all options except for crybaby g are on the table apparently which should make perfect sense. (Ffs hes even negotiating with THE lhw & you still crying)

Yet hating ggg fan Idec is here as usual with his pocket protector connecting dots he has no clue about such as DAZN/GBP business deal. There has been countless times that everyone from John skipper himself to dlh have said from day 1 that Canelos deal doesn't mandate him to do anything he hasn't already been doing in building his resume steadily & that theres nothing in his contract that says DAZN gets to pick his opponents. Of course DAZN gets a say in who he faces(like hbo did) but if they didn't put it in the contract must be for a reason. Bottom line is Canelos deal had nothing to do with ggg,how could it if he signed way before ggg. Ggg didn't have any clue whatsoever where hed end up when dazn signed nelo to a record breaking deal.

I know I won't change your mind, but this is why I say only true ggg fans would act like kieth idec does,no professional journalist should jump to conclusions that contradict what the only available evidence tells you. He literally makes the point that if Canelo hates ggg & doesn't feel like fighting him for personal reasons esp. next then therefore he must be screwing over dazn & he must be therefore an ungrateful lil sht. That is so illogical because Canelo signed for Dazn way before ggg so how can someone be held responsible for making an unrelated deal?
He said not fighting GGG would be hard to justify Canelo's deal with DAZN. But he signed with DAZN BEFORE GGG so the deal was justifed then! And it's being justified every time he fights because he's bringing in subs!!

DAZN is a boxing app. There are not enough boxing fans to sustain it.

Amazon, ESPN, & UBER market is the 300 mil plus Americans. DAZN's hardcore market probably tops off at a million or so.

            Those are bad comparisons.

Y'all see it with your own eyes. Y'all know the numbers don't add up. Y'all know their targeted market isn't big enough to sustain it. But for some reason y'all keep hoping against hope.

like I said earlier..... I don't believe that Skipper can dictate opponents to Canelo, any more than I believe that Skipper can dictate opponents to Golovkin

Skipper has the contractual right to air Canelo fights

I am sure that he will have some input into the decision, no question..... but I am equally as sure that Canelo has the final word

if Skipper intends to undertake some " action " to push for the Canelo/Golovkin trilogy, then it appears that he has two options.....

              1) lean on Canelo to fight Golovkin
              2) lean on Golovkin to fight Andrade

I wish him the very best of luck with that decision

there will be no stand-off with DAZN..... the worst-case scenario for DAZN is..... they will have to approve a good opponent, not-named Golovkin

then they will prepare to announce Golovkin's next opponent

around about then, they may start to realize what the problem is
For the life of me I can't figure out why Alvarez is expected to fight Golovkin until he KOs him or loses, fight all the other top MWs, move up in weight, while Golovkin just fights bums between Alvarez fights.

DAZN problem is that no one is going to sub DAZN to watch GGG fight bums.

DAZN already gave Golovkin a whopping $14.5 million to face the unknown, unproven Rolls in what was supposed to amount to a tune-up for a third fight against Alvarez. Skipper can’t give Golovkin another overmatched opponent, yet the former ESPN president also will try to be careful about not getting Golovkin knocked off by someone such as Andrade.

Golovkin clearly could beat Andrade as well. If Andrade defeated Golovkin, however, it would be almost impossible to go back to that third Alvarez-Golovkin fight, the foremost reason Skipper committed more than $100 million to a 37-year-old boxer.
He's comfortable at DAZN because they gave him $100 mil and a promotion deal and all they want from him is one Canelo fight. They don't expect him to take any risks.

... You, bright kid!... and the Kazakh chose not to sign with Arum or Haymon and he chose to sign with DAZN instead, precisely because he didn't want the "trilogy" fight with ginger asap... he actually wanted it sometime in 2025, right?

This isn't about what GGG chose to do. Idec said it would be hard to justify Canelo's contract if he didn't fight GGG. But Canelo's contract was signed way before GGG signed with DAZN. So his contract IS justified. It's an extremely ****** statement by Idec. And seeing as Canelo is the only one bringing in subs he's probably underpaid. He's carrying the whole company.

How can you justify GGG's $100 mil contract for one fight?

Standoff? Really? I see a standoff when there's equal firepower on each side! I don't think that's the situation. What is DAZN going to say to GBP? Canelo fights GGG or you have to leave DAZN? Really? Do they want GBP on ESPN? Can you imagine what ESPN would offer GBP to have Canelo on ESPN? DAZN can't afford to lose Canelo, especially after the Joshua disaster! DAZN should be putting pressure on GGG to fight Andrade or Charlo first before they even think about a standoff with Canelo!
