thats some hurt feelings sht right here if I've ever heard it. Canelo has literally just come off of convincingly schooling Jacobs (if floyd schooled canelo then nelo schooled jacobs)hes in the middle of negotiating a fight & all options except for crybaby g are on the table apparently which should make perfect sense. (Ffs hes even negotiating with THE lhw & you still crying)

There has been countless times that everyone from John skipper himself to dlh have said from day 1 that Canelos deal doesn't mandate him to do anything he hasn't already been doing in building his resume steadily & that theres nothing in his contract that says DAZN gets to pick his opponents. Of course DAZN gets a say in who he faces(like hbo did) but if they didn't put it in the contract must be for a reason. Bottom line is Canelos deal had nothing to do with ggg,how could it if he signed way before ggg. Ggg didn't have any clue whatsoever where hed end up when dazn signed nelo to a record breaking deal.

I know I won't change your mind,but this is why I say only true ggg fans would act like kieth idec does,no professional journalist should jump to conclusions that contradict what the only available evidence tells you. He literally makes the point that if Canelo hates ggg & doesn't feel like fighting him for personal reasons esp. next then therefore he must be screwing over dazn & he must be therefore an ungrateful lil sht. That is so illogical because Canelo signed for Dazn way before ggg so how can someone be held responsible for making an unrelated deal?

Canelo just beat Jacobs but is ducking Andrade. Canelo fights Andrade but is ducking Charlo. Canelo fights Kovalev but is ducking Callum Smith. The Canelo hate is strong. Most impressive resume in boxing has defeated 15 world champions and a four division titlist. Already has a hall of fame career but that doesn't matter to these so called boxing fans.

Totally agree, let GGG fight Andrade or Charlo to get the lock off the division. If he wins then he earns it again.
On paper Canelo now won twice, normally enough to move on so I think GGG doesn't have all that leverage the article mentions.

It's not just with this DAZN deal and playing hard to get with another fight with the G, it's also the way he turns proper fights into catchweights, the sometimes or recently all the time he gets a favourible scorecard.
I know he's A side but he gets location as well.
He would have to be pretty nieve to not know that when he signed with DAZN that they would go after Golovkin to make a super fight of their rivalry.
He honestly reminds me of the youngest brother in the family that has red hair(lol) that gets everything he ever asks for.

GGG knows his place and value. HE's happy with the money and has nothing to lose. He will deliver new Eastern Euro prospects to DAZN, even though its really Tom's job. Tom makes good money and GGG knows he has to pay Tom well to keep the brand name a float.

Canelo is genuinely on his own radar.

Since when does GGG have some huge pipeline of access to Eastern European fighters. Kazakhstan is not exactly a hotbed of great young prospects and Kazakhstan is not located in Eastern Europe, it's in Asia.

There is nothing GGG can or will do different. He has fought Canelo basically the same way in both fights. It was Canelo that showed he could change up styles. He could go forward or fight off the back foot. He showed he could box and he could go to war on the inside. The only thing GGG did that was a measure of success was his jab and I thought Canelo dealt with GGG's jab very well. In both fights GGG's use of his jab was not to set up punches, but he used it because it was the only punch he could land with some level of consistency.

GGG just does not have it in him to dig deep and go to war on the inside with Canelo. This is the only way he could win, but he just is too slow. Canelo's punches are shorter, tighter compared to GGG who's punches are more looping. Most of all Canelo's body punching shuts GGG down every time he tries to mount a sustained offensive.

This idea that all GGG needs to do is go to Canelo's body in order to win. First offf GGG does not want to pay the price for going to Canelo's body as he will be tagged with hooks and uppercuts from the much quicker Canelo. Second, there is a myth out there that GGG is some big body puncher. He is not a body puncher. He is no Chavez when it comes to body punching. Just because he has had a ko or knockdown from a body punch does not make him JCC. Go back and watch his fights and it is obvious he is a head hunter. Yes, he will throw a body punch here and there, but body punching has not been instilled in him through his training.

Look at Chavez, Barrera, and I would say Toney. They all went to the body with tremendous consistency and dedication. I have never seen GGG do anything similar.
