He has come up ONE FREWAKIN WEIGHT CLASS since he fought Broner. Pac Man was a champion in EIGHT weight classes and woud kick Mikeys ass. Prime vs prime he KOs Mikey. What a bunch of casuals.

Looking forward to getting up at silly o’clock in the morning - hope it’s not a short blowout for Spence!
This kills me how they show PPV fights free in UK. They don't show any huge overseas PPV fights free in US. We pay for everything!

Mikey ain't fighting for the glory -- he's fighting for the paycheck.

He could achieve glory by unifying the 140 titles, but is making more in this one fight than he would in three fights at 140.

Sorry that you can't relate or even appreciate what he's trying to do.

But, I suppose its not just you. There seems to be quite a lot of late cynicism on these boards about this fight. I don't get it. I'm looking forward to being entertained.

The boxing media isn't even trying to hide that they're softening the blow for Garcia. These articles are being written as if he's already lost.

Yes, last time. Loma needed tune-up fight, which btw was a unification with decent opponent. Not bad for tune up after complicated surgery and lay up, hah? But Loma has been calling him two years prior his Linares fight, and what I heard from Mikey and his brother is that it would have been difficult to make fight becase of Arum. They did not even try. Because they new what Matrix could do with slow and flatfooted Garcia...
Story with Bud was even more disgusting, Mikey avoided even the talks. So its better for you to refresh some memories.

Just my opinion, but it seems somewhat backwards to duck a guy by taking on a way bigger challenge. People at least gave Garcia a chance to beat Lomachenko (some give him a good chance to win), whereas in the case of Spence, people believe so little in him that we get these types of articles that declare him "a winner regardless of the result."
