Freddie Roach and Andre Ward both said in interviews that if Wilder won 2 rounds, as well as the 9th and 12th by 10 - 8, that would have been enough to get him a draw.

I find it amazing that Roach, one of the top trainers in the sport, doesn't know how to score a boxing match.

Not so amazed about Ward. He never had to concern himself with how fights were scored during his career. James Prince took care of that stuff for him.

What's funny is dude is actually right. The 1st couple of rds were subjective asf but Wilder was clearly more active than Fury and those early rounds could have easily gone in his favor.

All 3 judes had him winning the 1st and the 2nd was really close as well with Wilder landing the 2 last clean punches right at the end of that round. Could have easily been 2-0 Wilder

I think you should watch the fight again if you think Fury wasn't getting outworked and constantly hit to the body with jabs cleanly in the 1st couple rounds Fury barely threw any punches, then got it going around rd 3 or so..
Relatively close but still showed that Fury was out landing Wilder in both Jabs and power punches. You can have a competitive fight but still have a clear winner...

I think you should watch the fight again if you think Wilder was outworking Fury...

There is a reason the majority of boxers and fight fans believe Fury won.

Thanks. As fans, we have to be honest with ourselves, especially when it comes to our favorite fighters.

I feel the "draw" enabled Wilder and his fans, and look where he is now....no Fury rematch, not a word from AJ's camp regarding forward progression, but he still has his belt. *shrugs*

His body language during the post-fight interview and his speech told it all. He wasn't confident, but tried to save face by bringing up the knockdowns...to please his fans who weren't expecting the fight to go the distance.

The clearest shots were the body jabs.

Fury went to heaven and back. He himself has admitted he was out cold. Any other referee would've waved that fight off. First time in boxing history that didn't happen.
You won't be aware of this .. but boxing history goes back further than Dec 2018. A lot further, as a matter of fact.

Remember when all the PBC diehard boys said Paulie was the best and most objective...

Then try finding another example of a fighter being out cold for 6 seconds, and the fight not being waved off.
