Why is davis fighting a bantamweight?? First he wants to fight Mares, a featherweight, smaller than Davis,now he wants to fight a bantamweight??? Does the word bully ring a bell here. How abot fighting someone his own size???

Nah, you check his boxrec....Literally two weeks ago he fought at FW.

What he really "is" doesn't mean saying he is a FW is wrong since that's where he fought at last.

And yes, fight sucks. Should be entertaining...If you like one sided beat downs.

Tank is rightfully a 130 pounder. He's not even that big. Any focused fighter who takes his craft serious should have no problem making 130. And if he is serious which is looks like he was, then 130 should be no problem.

I've been reading your posts and here is my theory.

You sense that Tank will build his name and fight Loma when Tank and his team feels he has the best chance to win. That bothers you because you like Loma and are somewhat annoyed he wasn't able to get a fight with Tank when you felt Loma would easily beat Tank.

Is this in fact the case? If so, why?

I couldn't care less about Tank ducking Loma but when he and his team run their mouths then they should either just STFU or accept the challenge. That's why I hold him accountable to at least make credible matches. He's talking all that game but hiding.

I personally don't think Tank will be relevant by the time Loma is retiring either so the trying to stall him out thing isn't that relevant to me either. It's not that important I just think he's a punk and I wouldn't mind seeing him get a whipping already. I have more interest in Loma vs. Garcia or Berchelt. Credible opponents.

Can't fault anyone. You do what you have to with a last minute replacement.

That said, the extra weight will only help Hugo who will have height and reach on the tank. Certainly Hugo will be emotionally charged up for this fight and Tank won't be expecting much. Formula for a huge upset??

LOL. A natural bantamweight who was KO'd at 122 the last time he fought someone halfway decent. LOL. Cancelling the card would have been better.
