He already had the IBF belt.Anyway Luis Ortiz was the mandatory for the WBA . However the IBF obligations had to be met first . Which was Pulev then Luis Next. Luis did not want to wait and figured he will fight the WBC champion Deontay Wilder. Luis Ortiz manager confirms this by the way so there should not be any raised eyebrows. As you know Luis Failed a drug test and the fight with Deontay is off. Meanwhile the WBA bans Ortiz ( which is strange admittedly)wilder offers Luiz another crack at the whip and the rest is history

Yes I won’t argue with that assessment. However do you recall Winkel saying Joshua signature is not on the contract then later in another video stating it didn’t need to be. Honestly I don’t get embroiled with all the promoter talk. Fans are giving Hearn legendary status because he has the ability to evoke so much emotion( negative mostly) out of individuals. Similar to Floyd in some respects. Media want to talk to Hearn more than fighters which shouldn’t be the case.

He's mad because wilder is mad that AJ fought his mandatory first, Povetkin. That was always the plan to fight wilder in April. Now to get back at AJ wilder is doing a Fury rematch instead. Wilder doesn't understand that AJ had to fight his mando or be stripped because wilder doesn't have to fight mandos thanks to the WBC. Should be one a year but yet in 4 years wilder has fought only one mandatory, a washed up Stevirne.

Breazeale would probably beat Ortiz and possibly Wilder.
Povetkin would probably beat Ortiz and possibly Wilder.

Fury has is a great win against Klitschko, a decent recovery win against Cunningham, a boring retirement rematch v Chisora and now a robbery draw against Wilder.

Fury is great HW boxer and will probably fight top fighters in the next few years but don't make yourself look silly.
