Enough said.
Ps he didn't get dropped by Price.
Malik Scott was leading Chisora on all 3 scorecards prior to a controversial 6th round stoppage where he beat the count and the ref waved it off.
Ortiz is in a different class than Takam, Chisora and Pedvetkin.

I think Ortiz is good but he's been greatly overrated for two main reasons: He's Cuban and the knockout over Bryant Jennings. From his amateur days, when he was thinner he was able to move his feet better. As a pro, he's kind of a plodder.
The best way to settle this is to have them both fight.

Povetkin was legitimately beating AJ and was landing some real nasty shots until he gassed. I think he would take out Ortiz early.
On the flip side of that I can't see Ortiz lasting only 7 rounds with Joshua. If f Wilder didn't take Ortiz or early it's highly unlikely Povetkin would. What fighter on the level of Ortiz has Povetkin taken out early? That's just silly.
If fighters like Takam can go into the later rounds with Povetkin then your scenario is highly unlikely.Last edited by joseph5620; 09-24-2018, 01:22 PM.

Not too late to make that fight so we can find out or would some of you rather just make a complete ASS out of yourself but ASSUMING who is better because you don't want to run the risk of being wrong and getting laughed off this forum
Give me Ortiz, I think he either Stops or Box Circles around Povetkin. Both been stopped recently so I don't want to hear about how "AJ Softened Up Povetkin For Ortiz" when Ortiz himself was stopped by Wilder
Ortiz vs Povetkin with the winner getting another shot at Wilder or AJ. Not like the Heavyweight Division is deep anywayLast edited by sicko; 09-24-2018, 01:32 PM.

AJ had a scare in one of the rounds, but otherwise cruised to a dramatic KO.
With regards to skill, Povetkin seems like the harder puncher, quicker fighter with better movement. Ortiz has a better jab and defense.
For my money. However, Povetkin's skills have been proven on a higher level than Ortiz's have.
