Too many posters are pressed to feel like they were "right" and that they correctly had GGG winning. Only three opinions mattered Saturday night and 2 of them felt Alvarez won more rounds than GGG. That's all that matters. The system correctly awarded a winner.

Canelo brought it to GGG and this fight has been FOTY for me.
I loved and enjoyed every second of the 12 rounds and you have to give it up to both guys.
One fighter had to win and that was Canelo.
Good luck to him and his team in the future.
GGG life goes on im sure them mega millions will damper your loss.
I do think age is catching up to him and he needs to go to 168.
He's just too slow now for 160.
      Great effort great fight.
      Well done to both fighters.

Im not crying i am just saying who deserved to win the fight and the consensus is by almost all the media and newsrooms is golovkin won the fight.
Tell me if that's a fact am i lying ?
There is a reason why de la hoya has wrote this letter because of the controversy once again.
Would you like some tissues? Seems like you are taking the loss harder than GGG. Fact of the matter is there are several fights where one threw more and still lost. Power shots thrown and landed with a better percentage. Ring generalship won this one for Canelo. Jabs rarely win fights as they are not power shots. 2 of 3 of very highly respected judges decided the fight. I would take their word over a fan such as yourself. Like I said keep crying, it changes nothing.

If he can’t decisively beat Canelo at 35 or 36, how is he going to do it at 37?

People get worse with age. That’s how this works.

If he had to come out with this letter is because he knows people know Canelo lost both times and people know Oscar has had judges up his sleeves not only for these 2 fights, but for others including Clenelo.

What does media market and their paydays have to do with the press being biased against them? Their biggest market is in the U.S but its because of the fans and their promotional companies not these biased "writers" you fool.

I love both boxers and give Canelo credit for fighting a great brave fight. The majority of viewers thought GGG won both fights according to every poll I have seen. That won't change with all your name calling. In fact the term hater fits you nicely.
I'm no hater. I've always given Triple g his props. And you've obviously been on this site a long time judging by your points but I've gotta admit I've never seen you're name before on this site... Maybe you changed your name after Canelo beat Triple g's ass a couple of days ago... IDK??
But much props to you for giving props where props is due.
If you feel Triple g won both fights then you're entitled to your own opinion. But at least you gave Canelo props.
But if you're not a hater then why even bother responding to my post? I clearly stated the haters and Triple g nuttriders.
That means the fake Boxing fans on this site who still haven't given Canelo his props. There's plenty of them on here.
                That's who I'm referring too!
All the fools that kept saying Canelo would get knocked out cause he wasn't on the juice anymore. That's who I'm referring too!
All the fools who kept saying Canelo would get knocked out if he stood toe to toe with Triple g.. That's who I'm referring too. Those are the Triple g nuttriders who I'm referring too.. They should learn from you and learn to give props where props is due.
                That's all I'm saying!

"While everyone is entitled to his or her opinion (especially in boxing), let's take a moment to appreciate what Canelo and GGG gave us on Saturday night and work towards doing it more often for the sake of the sport we all love so much." Oscar De La Hoya

I'll admit Canelo brought the fight to GGG and didn't run, that it was a close action packed bout that could have gone either way, and that Canelo fought better than in the first fight. With no strong allegiance to GGG, I still feel GGG won the first match and if anything the rematch could have been a draw.

Boxing is a business, Canelo is a better looking, more sellable image, that has a much longer shelf life than GGG. It's simple math who's going to get a close decision. Oscar's closing statement just gives me the message of "I know you don't like this questionable decision but let's sweep it under the carpet and move on".

You know you have a decisive victory when your promotor has to out and out say that he didn't pay off the judges, GGG can win on the cards, and that jabs don't matter. People are saying Golovkin is finished yet according to press row and fan polls he just beat Canelo twice. Oh boxing, you hilarious *****. Just like always we just move on.
