    After rewatching the fight, I found it very difficult scoring 3 or 4 rounds in Canelo's favor and feel like the only reason I did give him those rounds is so that my scorecard wouldn't be ridiculous. I very easily could have given Golovkin every round of this fight. Good fight, but it wasn't close at all. There were only 2 rounds in the first half of the fight that I gave to Canelo. Round 2 and round 6. He didn't exactly dominate those rounds either. I'm sure we can all agree that Canelo did not win 5 of the last 6 rounds. I have never seen so many people so content and happy with a robbery.

        By the 8th round of the fight i knew Canelo was going to win. I believe the decision was 100% fair considering you can hear the corner of GGG tell him that he is losing. GGG had a chance to finish him 10-12 rounds, but i think GGG was intimated by Canelos speed and power.

          Did Kellerman say Canelo needed a KO or was it GGG ?

            Your post illustrates why boxing is in the state that it is in....people keep getting dissappointed with unfair unjust decisions that have led to its decline.... and they start to tune out as they already know what the outcome will be

            Those who believe Canelo won have to use metrics like comparing facial damage or Triple Gs trainer told him he was losing during the fight or Canelo was the aggressor.

            In my old school way of thinking I always thought the guy throwing more leather was the aggressor whether coming forward or moving away. Triple G threw an average of 23 more punches per round and landed more.

            Great trainers have been known to tell their fighter during a close fight that they are losing it or blowing it etc to try to get a little more out of their fighter...

            Comparing facial damage is ridiculous as some fighters bruise easier than others, cut easier or some have more scar tissue etc.....

            If you are going to cite Canelo's power punches I would have liked to have seen some of those punches hurt, rock, wobble Triple G.....but not one of those punches ever slowed him down or hurt him while Triple G DID hurt Canelo in a few rounds....

            I have seen many great fights and great fighters over more than 40 years and have seen many great champions and great Mexican champions......Canelo seems to me to be a manufactured champion that should have several losses on his record and has benefited from dubious scoring and corrupt judges.

              you need to give yourself an uppercut, and learn how to score a fight

              your post is as ridiculous as your score

              Canelo won ALL of the official scoring criteria.....

              * clean hard punching
              * effective aggression
              * ring generalship
              * defence
              what the fcuk did you think you were watching ? lol
