They probably gave it to Golovkin to avoid giving Canelo a winning 115-113 scorecard.

It was a clear Canelo round.

GGG a power punching wrecking ball backing up against a smaller fighter who moved up in weight is inexcusable. Then add the fact that your team incessantly taunted Canelo about that...**** that's an epic fail.

Abel is a SH_T trainer by the way, his instructions or lack of was useless!

Cong**** to Canelo, respect to BOTH for a GREAT FIGHT! Rematch not happening you can forget that!
Man - I was saying the same thing throughout the whole fight. Tactical instructions aside, the one thing he needed to do was tell GGG to throw his shots with authority... Canelo threw every shot with bad intentions, but tight enough not to be wild, but GGG seemed content with just touching Canelo, and sitting down on his shots only few and far between. Able kept saying he was fine with that.

I'm still blown away by this. I've been on these forums before 90% of you tonight. this was won by Canelo. Sorry. Just look at their faces after the fight. old school way to tell who won the fight.

GGG backed up too much. It's as simple as that. Canelo was the aggressor the entire fight.

And by the way, where is that loudmouthed Abel Sanchez? He got Canelo really mad with the rubbish talk and GGG must blame him for his defeat, not the judges.

Although I don’t like Canelo; I can’t insult him after this fight. He was under the drug test protocol and came into this fight clean after he got busted before the “original” rematch. He took some great shots and landed some of his own. Arguably, it could have been scored for GGG because he started out good and came on late, much like Canelo did in the 1st fight. But I have to give BOTH fighters their props. It’s not easy to last 12 rounds with either one. IM WATCHING THE TRILOGY AND MOST FANS WILL AFTER THEIR EMOTIONS COME DOWN. RESPECT TO BOTH FIGHTERS. CANT IMAGINE BEING IN THERE WITH EITHER OF THEM!

I knew Canelo was getting the decision or it'd be another draw as long as he didn't get KOed but GGG looked 36 tonight imo

It was a matter of Canelo making clear adjustments from the 1st fight and GGG looking tired and not as fluid with his work while Canelo looked confident I think sometimes judges focus on that aspect more than actual landed punches since u really can't tell who's landing more in a tight fight like that from ringside

But im really just numb to all this shyt now there has been so many bad decisions in boxing it's not even surprising no more

I thought the 1at judge had it right but the powers that be def didn't want another draw

I'm just pretty much disgusted that a PED cheat who just got caught this year get handed an unified/lineal title he should have clearly lost like that.

                      It hurts the sport.

Canelo knows he lost, remember his shy jump to the ropes, he didn't even dare to have his hands up.
