In addition he is one of the most inactive champs across all divisions fighting barely once per year. His last named fight within his own division was 2013 against Tony Bellew

Kovalev otoh fights 2-3 times per year
... Stevenson was very lucky because fighting in Canada and thus winning more decent money as a star there...

He's a little better than people give him credit.

I don't think it would be an easy win for Kovalev because he does have fight ending power. He also has a good body attack and we know that could spell trouble for Kovalev.

They would also mention that boxing and Las Vegas specifically has a history of corruption and house judges decisions. But this writer mentioned none of those things. Therefore, he seems like a hack. I don't mean that personally, I did not even look at the writers name so I don't know them personally at all, but based on those clear, su****ious omissions from the article, any fair-minded person would have to suspect that he's a hack.
Agreed 100%!! They really act like it was total fair victories. .. how much do you think they get paid to say things like that?
        What? Nothing?
        How dumb they are

Yes Sergey failed to survive Ward. Yes Rigo failed to survive Loma. Yes Broner failed to outwork Maidana, Porter and Garcia. Yet these guys stepped in and tried.

So, much respect to them. Much respect to Kov even though he is full of excuses. Much respect to Rigo despite the 'bad hand'. Much respect to all boxers.
          LOL full of excuses. ..
B please. 3 lowblows in a row ; pretty sure you'd have something to say about it. .

FACT, Mainevents/Duva ran from the purse-bid that they begged for also being the mandatory to Stevenson. The evidence is clear, Kovalev and Alvarez ducked Adonis.

FACT, Adonis fought a young-prime Badou Jack, battered him silly and is still tha champ! but Kovalev is washed and Eleider seen it and took the easier route to a world-title.
It's amazing how Stevenson is never at fault for these fights not happening. Everyone is just that SCURRED of an aging, inactive limited fighter with shit stamina. Right....

... Adonis wanted one thing only: the fight to be on Showtime...

While most of his fans gave up on him, there's still a small group of posters who defend him.

Adonis should give Badou Jack a rematch. IMO Badou Jack won that fight.
