Here’s a fact that no one ever mentions and I don’t understand how a fighter like Stevenson ever wins at top level....

FACT: Stevenson has one punch and one punch only, his left hand

    He has no hook
    He has no meaningful jab
He has no left or right cross
    He has no uppercut

I just don’t get how fighters don’t stay completely on his right side and only pay attention to his left? He is WEAK in his right hand and honestly I’d rate his right hand of that of a welterweight. It’s sad to watch the man box at times because I’m yelling at the screen stay on that right he has absolutely no right hand at all

They would also mention that boxing and Las Vegas specifically has a history of corruption and house judges decisions. But this writer mentioned none of those things. Therefore, he seems like a hack. I don't mean that personally, I did not even look at the writers name so I don't know them personally at all, but based on those clear, su****ious omissions from the article, any fair-minded person would have to suspect that he's a hack.

None of the opinions BL stated have anything to do with the point of the article. It's about Kovalev, his upcoming fight and Bivol and Stephenson. The writer accurately captured what some pundits were saying about Kovalev being done and smartly says....maybe not with the article. Start another thread to share your hard on for Ward.

Ward exposed the myth of "Krusher" in their second fight where Kovalev's instincts were to look for the ref to intervene. Not a good look imo!

          Battered him silly?

Respect to these warriors for taking this dangerous fight. Anybody can type what they want, but end of the day, these guys have to take the uppercuts, liver shots, hook and all that sort for 36 minutes if they can survive that long. Yes Sergey failed to survive Ward. Yes Rigo failed to survive Loma. Yes Broner failed to outwork Maidana, Porter and Garcia. Yet these guys stepped in and tried.

So, much respect to them. Much respect to Kov even though he is full of excuses. Much respect to Rigo despite the 'bad hand'. Much respect to all boxers.

He's done pretty well in boxing with that "one" punch.

However, he does have an underrated body attack. Kept him in the fight against Jack.

Adonis is scared of every light heavyweight. He's probably scared of his own ugly ass reflection.

Sorry I just don’t find him that good. Badou Jack moved up from Super MW. I’m wondering when this guy stops fighting tomato cans within his own division and actually fights real talent. In addition he is one of the most inactive champs across all divisions fighting barely once per year. His last named fight within his own division was 2013 against Tony Bellew

Kovalev otoh fights 2-3 times per year
