There's been some absolute crap to be rated #1 by the WBC. Didn't they put Stiverne there for one fight in like 3 years against somebody that wasn't even ranked?

GGG is their champ so is he great? A champ is a higher rank than a #1 contender.

but charlo already has himself in that position does he not? thats what the heiland fight was for.....he positioned himself and sooner or later that defense will come if he stays there....

To be honest I haven't followed that saga in 2-3 weeks. It's very tiresome but of course you are more into that than actual discussing Boxing, fights, divisions where there's not a fan base you took a disliking to etc;

I think it will happen and be signed by the end and scheduled for early next year. I'm usually right about these things. I won a bet on Loma-Linares happening May 12th for example. I've just chosen to skip past the headlines and trust it's getting done that way I can focus on the actual sport and not have to bicker with so-called fans.

If Charlo beat Jacobs I would hope he gets a shot at Golovkin and that it ideally happened within this year or early next year at latest. Depending on what happens with Canelo and possibly Saunders (though that fight sounds more unlikely).

Bigot pigs like you don't think so I'm not shocked that you would bet that I would advocate for Golovkin to fight Charlo.

Well, that was a b.s opponent to be awarded with but it is what it is. Boxing politics. The WBC will only enforce it if there's nothing left but they will let their champions fight a unification or a huge money fight before enforcing a mandatory. Charlo in the meantime has spare time to fight somebody worth a damn and instead he'll fight guys like Centeno.

If you beat another top 5 in the whole division guy your stock goes up and more people demand certain fights. Charlo is certainly behind BJS, Canelo, Jacobs in the pecking order and at best he's only as deserving as Devreychenko and Andrade. You don't think him fighting Jacobs strengthens his position? It eliminates a guy who's likely and more deserving of a shot ahead of him and separates himself from the others.

I guess you'd rather see Centeno II than Jacobs.
