The pick 'em 2018 rescue thread

As a player that did well all year last year, I think it needs to continue. With that said I used a large multiplier on Groves V Eubank and got it perfect, I want those pts! That puts me where I need to be. But it should carry on! I’m so busy with family and work, i wouldn’t be reliable to really help. We need someone that is computer savvy and works from home, or has time. Thank you for addressing the pink elephant that’s suffocating the room!!

I agree . I also got the Groves/Eubanks fight on the money and did well with Rungvisai/Estrada . Let's keep it going it adds some excitement to the fights . Reminds me of an NFL pool .

I someone wants to pick this back up. I can snatch the entire table from Bob's Pick'Em thread and place it in a new thread (of whoever takes it over) where the thread starter will have control of that table.

Now then - the next task is to work out just who is willing to do this ish. I can probably pick up a few of them but I'm unwilling to take it on completely simply because other commitments will mean that I just won't be around on many weekends.

What I'm hoping to do (if I can find two or three other volunteers, willing or otherwise) is set up a muti-user membership - like the ABCx3 dudes - whereby if one of us ain't available, one of the others still has access to the tables to fill in for any work that needs doing. Is that something you could set up? Would we all need access to the same e-mail account or something, or is there another way round that?

The easiest way to do that IMO, is to have a user account created just for Pick'em and all of the users have access to that account.

I'd be cool with that, but it kinda depends on everybody trusting everybody else not to mess with the results... personally I think it'd be OK but there are those who might object. I'd probably put it to a vote, but the problem I'm having right now is how to do a group mention - cos I'm also looking to do a shoutout looking for volunteers.

I've managed to pull a list of names from the Pick 'em thread but every time I try to do a Mention wrap around all of 'em it fails for some reason - is there some syntax problem or do I need to actually go through manually and mention 'em one by one?

the pick em is done for, its over. it was good whilst it lasted. its too much to sort out if someone else takes it over, and they will probably get bored of doing it too. its a lot of work for someone to do for no real benefit.

I've invited siablo14 already, but would strongly encourage anyone who thinks they can help to volunteer their services too - either just post your willingness on this thread or PM me.

I'll post the usernames of any volunteers on here and if anyone has any objections to their inclusion they can raise it here - I think that anyway it's as well not to allow posters with red rep to be CREW members, so if that's you, sorry but your request will be refused.

As ever, if anyone has any other comments or suggestions, please post 'em on this thread or PM me, but in the interests of expediting this ish I'm just gonna get on with it unless I receive any objections.
