Oh yeah... and, man, I had no idea whether there's mountains in North Wisconsin - damn, I probably couldn't have picked out Wisconsin on a map of the States, but now I've just had to go check, haven't I? ha ha
So the answer is no, unless you're being particularly generous with your definition of the term 'mountain' but it does apparently have some rather pretty hills for Bob to go nude capering in..

You still play poker?I just got my money back last week from ULTIMATE BET.The government went after them and I got my 1200 back.Never thought I would see that 10yrs later it was all profit so I was not real sad about it.Did you play online?Made a pretty penny while that was legal here.

So far we got a general willingness for the thing to continue, but a minimal level of willingness to actually muck in - which is quite understandable... I don't really want to do it myself. I'm thinking if I just had two or three other guys to share the work with it'd be pretty manageable though. I've PMed the ABC Troika to ask about setting up multi-user memberships and am looking into how best to upload a table (since there doesn't seem to be an option for setting tables up in the regular post features - unless someone can help me with that). I'm thinking it may be necessary to tabulate the data using whatever software we all have access to, save it as an image file then upload it before inserting it into a post, but maybe I'm overcomplicating things. If anyone has any ideas I'm all ears.
In terms of keeping it going for now, it's easy enough to just do what Siablo did last weekend for Rungvisai - Estrada, although I'm gonna suggest just leaving out the poll altogether unless we've got someone who can reliably be there at the start of every Pick Em fight to screenshot it. If we just move back to the old format (NAME WINNER KO/PTS DETAIL MULT) eg KOBA RUNGVISAI PTS CLOSE x1 it stores it for the record and time stamps it to ensure the pick was made before the starting bell. OK it's probably a bit more work to collate all the results later but hopefully that won't continue for too long.

Yea got got some money back last year from Absolute (or maybe Ultimate Bet idr, iirc they joined together at some point). And nah I don't really play anymore. I dabble every now & again on ACR, but never serious like I used to be. Haven't played serious since 2013. Don't think I've played live since 2009. Fell outta love with the game.

Yea have not played myself for a while(closest place about an hour away)but made about 20gs online Party Poker had the most suckers
but Ultimate bet was my 1st and favorite.Played at Poker stars,Paradise,Pacific.Still love game but don't have time to go up there much and rake much harder to beat when you can only play one game and get about half the amount of hands. You can get about 60 an hour online only about 25-30 brick&morter plus rake is higher and cant play more then one table obvs.
And yea it just is easier to get in more hands online with less rake. Its +ev to play online vs live. You can bankroll manage easier too. Scope out games better. Lotsa advantages playing online vs live.

Haha. Dude Party Poker was the greatest site everrrrrrr. I don't think I ever printed money as easily & less stressful as I did when Party was open for US players. I remember when they were getting ready to close down for US players. I took all my money offline & left 1 SNG buy in just to play another game & see if I could run it up. Think I was still playing $5.50 SNG's back then. Was still young in the game. Ran that up to a couple hundro before they closed down the next day.
Ahhhh the memories. You ever play on Mansion Poker? That was a print money ez site too. They used to have a show, Poker Dome(iirc) in Las Vegas you could win a trip to play on, you could win $100k or $1M (idr which) vs 3 or 4 other players in some speed poker game. They had a tournament to get on the show. I made the final table of that f#cking tournament like 5 or 6 times & got 2nd or 3rd 2 or 3 times.
