And randomly Bob's awolness is why I haven't done anything with the money version of the pickem game. Can't have a mfer awol + holding people's money & his been touch n go a lot lately. And after looking over the mods idk any of them well enough to say anyone is more trustworthy then anyone else or trustworthy at all.

Yea I think a money version would be all but impossible.Unless we make it so little and then its not really worth it.

As a player that did well all year last year, I think it needs to continue. With that said I used a large multiplier on Groves V Eubank and got it perfect, I want those pts! That puts me where I need to be. But it should carry on! I’m so busy with family and work, i wouldn’t be reliable to really help. We need someone that is computer savvy and works from home, or has time. Thank you for addressing the pink elephant that’s suffocating the room!!

I’m in the same boat as you, I enjoy pick ‘em and would love it to continue but wouldn’t have the time to help sufficiently, nor am I very computer savvy.

Brother I gave up on Money Edition a while back. I and I both knew that it wasn’t gonna work without the proper time and set up. Maybe Bob is dealing with depression or emotional issues, bless him, but last year he would be late af updating shlt. But at this pt I’ve given up

Ah man I been dorking out playing around with the scoring, cuz I still say throwing in the betting line mutiplier makes it more interesting, for nothing lol.

I was thinking about escrowing myself cuz I'm here daily bsing more or less even though I originally didn't wanna. I'd throw it in some ****** for the year & take weekly or monthly snapshots of the wallet or value to show I didn't go all hookers & ******* on everyones money. If I lost money I'd cover the original amount & if we made money then the prize pool is a hell of a lot bigger then everyone's fee.

But few seemed super into it seemed the biggest issue.

Ok, let's try to keep this moving at least. So far we got a general willingness for the thing to continue, but a minimal level of willingness to actually muck in - which is quite understandable... I don't really want to do it myself. I'm thinking if I just had two or three other guys to share the work with it'd be pretty manageable though. I've PMed the ABC Troika to ask about setting up multi-user memberships and am looking into how best to upload a table (since there doesn't seem to be an option for setting tables up in the regular post features - unless someone can help me with that). I'm thinking it may be necessary to tabulate the data using whatever software we all have access to, save it as an image file then upload it before inserting it into a post, but maybe I'm overcomplicating things. If anyone has any ideas I'm all ears.

In terms of keeping it going for now, it's easy enough to just do what Siablo did last weekend for Rungvisai - Estrada, although I'm gonna suggest just leaving out the poll altogether unless we've got someone who can reliably be there at the start of every Pick Em fight to screenshot it. If we just move back to the old format (NAME WINNER KO/PTS DETAIL MULT) eg KOBA RUNGVISAI PTS CLOSE x1 it stores it for the record and time stamps it to ensure the pick was made before the starting bell. OK it's probably a bit more work to collate all the results later but hopefully that won't continue for too long.

Aw man don't even joke about me stealing peoples money, for bills or hookers, thats f#cked up.

I use to manage a poker staking outfit back in the day & having a mfer make off with the 1k you just sent him to play poker with & suddenly start to ignore you on skype is some sh^t that'll make you lose faith in humanity.

Someone should start a thread for Bivol-Barrera and/or Wilder-Ortiz. By the time they happen hopefully someone will volunteer or Bob will appear to say all is well. If nothing else works then consider simplifying so that it's about picking the winner and nothing else, no method of victory or multiplier. That would be less fun but if it is all anyone has time for would be better than nothing.

Good man! But yeah, you're right - I'd be up for throwing in some coin (and I'd be cool with Pandas doing escrow) but if we can't even get this **** together, a money version ain't realistic.

Oh yeah... and, man, I had no idea whether there's mountains in North Wisconsin - damn, I probably couldn't have picked out Wisconsin on a map of the States, but now I've just had to go check, haven't I? ha ha





So the answer is no, unless you're being particularly generous with your definition of the term 'mountain' but it does apparently have some rather pretty hills for Bob to go nude capering in..
