It was a combo of the Klitschko bros and an outright lack of talent. Had the Klitschkos fought in this current HW era they would've racked up multiple losses, they'd have been around gate keeper status, below the likes of AJ, Fury, Wilder.

Both brothers lost to the ONLY A level opponents they fought. Wlad lost to Fury/AJ and numerous journeymen while a hungry prime Vitali got beat by a 38 year old obese Lewis that barely even trained for the fight.

Lol @ people claiming they hurt boxing. Especially Vitali... that's utter nonsense.

I guess Floyd hurt boxing just as bad, if it's Wladimir's fault.

The HW division is the worst it's ever been. I never believed it would get lower than it was under Wlad's reign, but it has.

          I wouldn't go that far

Vitali would batter wilder and Joshua in his prime

            Lol

It's not even "the worst it's ever been" since when Sam Peter was "the man"

Dunno about all that, Vitali's best wins are against the likes of herbie hide and old, shot, brewster.

                Holyfield sounds salty as hell.

                1. Vitali almost never held. Guarantee holyfield held more than vitali.

                2. Wlad used to never hold. His style was changed to fight in the same style as Lewis... who also was criticized for holding, not taking enough risks ect.

                3. We used to have to watch headbutt fests when Holyfield fought so if he wants to talk about fighters abusing rules, dont throw stones in glass houses.

Grass is always greener. We got AJ/Wilder and Fury if his fat ass ever comes back. Wilder and AJ are known to be chinny. Wilder can be sloppy. AJ isnt that great.... youve seen his last fight and him struggle to put away a 38 year old C level cruiserweight sized uber driver who took the fight on 12 days notice.

The only real thing we got going is that we have a few evenly matched guys at heavyweight to see who will be the next king. And as usual the fighters/promoters are delaying them fighting each other. AJ and wilder should be fighting NOW.

So dont give me that grass is always greener bullchit holyfield aka Evan Fields on his growth hormone shipment labels.

you are right he used to never hold and he was ko'd 3 times in a short period when he stepped up his level of competition. once he developed his hold anytime someone came near him strategy he didnt lose for ten years. coincidence im sure.

Err.. so the punch drunk roided out of his mind CW is blaming the Klitschkos for not losing often enough..? I thought it was the opponent´s job to beat them?

From a fan perspective I must agree with Evander. I've never been interested in a Klitchko fight unless the opponent was someone I wanted to see. They made the division very predictable and the fights were awful
