Cotto is 37 years old. Ali = Berto and WAY better than Connor at boxing.

Why do you believe Cotto deserves to be in the HOF?
I think he belongs in the hof because he's fought in 4 weight clases and won world titles in each of them. While cotto has lost against the biggest names of his career, hes beaten enough good names along the way to even it out. Beating undefeated versions of guys like Ricardo torres, Paulie Malignaggi, Carlos quintana and yuri foreman (all guys who either were or later on became world. Champions) is a solid accomplishment. He beat a still elite version of mosley, a solid motivated version of Judah, and regardless of how people want to diminish his win vs Sergio martinez after the fact, he dominated a fight where he came in as an underdog. His loss to Margarito is obviously suspect and was avenged, he gave pac, mayweather and Canelo competitive and entertaining fights and there's no shame in losing to those 3. Mayweather is best of this generation, pac was at his absolute peak (so much so that people to this day suspect he was on roids) and Canelo was 10 yrs younger and significantly bigger. The trout fight was an anomaly in my opinion. So overall, he's had an elite career and few in the past 20 yrs have accomplished more. And when in doubt, Gatti is a hall of famer so cotto will certainly get in. Lol

So Diva Cotto takes an extremely easy retirement fight. Can't blame him I guess. He did have quite a few memorable fights, some epic wins and epic losses. Overall a solid career in the ring.

Hopefully after this, he gets in there in the thick of it and helps out his country after all the b.s. they've been dealt.

It's a real poor fight. But if Cotto wants to go out on a convincing last win then fair play to him. I've enjoyed watching his career.

Now there's no Lem fight, i'd like to see Lem vs BJS.

Good retirement fight for Cotto. Cotto has fought everyone. He can choose who ever the **** he wants to fight for his last fight.

Guys like Pac, Cotto, etc., have done their time at the top of the sport. It's time for the new generation. No need for these older guys to mess with this new generation of fighters and risk getting hurt by a younger lion.

Lemieux was too dangerous and Garcia didn't make sense. This is a little out of left field but it's his last fight so let him have a cup cake.
