Comments Thread For: Report: Miguel Cotto to Face Sadam Ali 12/2, MSG in New York

Miguel Cotto came to the Canelo Alvarez-Gennady Golovkin fight last month in Las Vegas and openly discussed fighting the winner. It appears, though, that Cotto has chosen a far less dangerous opponent for his farewell fight. The newly crowned WBO super welterweight champion reportedly will face welterweight contender Sadam Ali on December 2 at Madison Square Garden.

Hopefully it makes it more likely. But BJS will talk a good game and find a way to avoid it.

Cotto should just retire. This retirement fight bs for anyone virtually always is some goofy sh^t that serves no purpose to anyone except the guy who's retiring ego.

This fight sums up Miguel Cotto, how people think this guy is a HOFer is beyond me. To be fair though, the IBHOF is a joke anyway and it's way too easy to get in.
