I don't have a major problem with that, the slimy weasel was just doing his job

everyone should know not to trust promoters

my issue is that Gennady has been allowing his team to talk shht and he is happy to ride along with it

It is funny how we take Ward at his word he couldn't fight but Golovkin is clearly ducking Ward because he can't be trusted.

I've said I don't believe either guy ducked each other. Had Golovkin fought Sergio back in 2013/2014 and Golovkin was in a different position in his career then maybe they can make it happen at 168lbs. But who knows if Ward can make that weight .

I think there was gamesmanship on both guys side. Golovkin's team was definitely looking to build up his name in 2012. Ward was definitely on the back burner in 2015 and bringing up Golovkin (and at the same time doing his promo stablemate Cotto a solid) was his chance to come back and get a little pay back for not being able to say yes in 2012.

BTW before anyone says Andre wouldn't do such a thing?

"In September that year, a clearly frustrated Ward gave an interview to FightHubTV and insisted on referring to Golovkin as “Little G”, lambasting the fighter and his camp for turning down an official offer to fight. He also complained that a double standard seemed to apply in terms of how their negotiating strategies were portrayed by the media: “Now, if the shoe was on the other foot, if I said ‘I’m going to 75, and I’m not gonna touch Kovalev, I’ll fight this guy and that guy, but if I fight Kovalev he’s gotta come to 170 or 172’ – can you imagine what the headlines would read? And if my trainer and my promoters were talking like they talk, but there was no action – can you imagine what the headlines would read?”
On October 8th, just three months after Rafael’s report, Loeffler gave an interview to krikya360.com explaining why the official offer was rejected"

          You LOSE.

Now he has two losses in a row. So much for your hero....LOL

Now I'm a journalist, I guess that is better than being an alt Maxi. LOL!
Listen dude, wouldn't you want to get rid of all the fake s**t first? So lets save the best for last which is Jacobs vs Charlo at 160. Yes, lil g is fake media hype & it makes me sick.....

The offer was rejected because Ward wanted GGG to sign a contract agreeing to fight him at 168 in the summer of 2016, and GGG had already been guaranteed a fight with the winner of Cotto/Canelo which would have taken place around that same time, if Canelo hadn't requested an interim voluntary defence after beating Cotto.

Loeffler read the offer, rejected it immediately and told Ward if he wanted to fight GGG at 168 he should get back to them in 2017. There were no negotiations.

Man ... if reality is too harsh for you to deal with then maybe you should get into watching movies instead of real life boxing.

I can see you now, screwing your eyes shut, sticking your fingers in your ears and sobbing .. "No, no this isn't happening .." when a stadium full of Mexican fans started cheering for GGG after the Canelo fight!

hahaha beat me to it! Lara called his ass out too!

I think people are seeing this guy for what he is and his skills fighting ****ty competition aren't sharpening his tools. So he punches hard and has a decent pressure game. It's a waste of talent fighting soup cans, sure you an knock em out, but eventually your meet a guy who cane take that away. He could have been a way better fighter if he fought live bodies or was in the ring more often.
