Can you cite an example where the reverse occurred?
Haymon has 200 fighters, why would he need to overpay for a B-side from GB/TR/K2? And why would he risk one of his champions against an outsider if he didn't have to?

Haymon is trying to accumulate as many WBC/WBA/IBF world titles as possible. Notice almost every time one of his fighters vacates, more Haymon fighters are right there in line to fight for the vacant title.

In the fights you listed, non-Haymon fighters controlled the titles in those divisions, so he wasn't risking anything and had the upset occurred, he'd be gaining belts.

Our answer is that Haymon is the market leader and doesn't want opponents from those promoters.

Poor Mike Alvarado. He's always given the tough fights. He was happy to be given Rios for Rios' debut fight moving up. Was a good back and forth fight, but lost his title. He clearly underestimated Rios.

He retained it in another grueling rematch, but was given Provo for defending the title, the guy whom Bradley just went life and death with. Lost the title again and was given Marquez for his next fight. He cashed in for the Rios trilogy and retired a dejected man.

Arum just don't give a crap about this man. He just got a stunning come back win and now is rumored to get Crawford for his next fight. This guy should leave Arum and sign with Don King or something.
