      MMA fans + Boxing fans = 3,000,000 buys

      It'll be the general public that'll determine how much higher it goes beyond that.

          Big mistake in assuming MMA fans + Boxing fans = big numbers. The casual fans people refer to in boxing are the same MMA fans. Who could they be? They can't possibly be housewives and grandmas who have little interest in any kind of contact sport.

          So nothing is actually added, except bystanders, people who got influenced by the hype, etc. The demographic would be no different from the people who watched Pac/May.

              It already did more than 2.5, the Cable companies had outages.

              They hyped this fight up 100 times more than Mayweather Pacquiao. The May Pac fight didnt have a fight week build up like this fight, they even showed fights on FOX, and advertised like crazy

              Also dont forget Conor is a white Irish man, while Pacquiao was a short caveman looking Filipino, more middle america will order Conor than Pacquiao because he is white.

              Its going to do well over 5 million and I see it maybe round the 7 million buys mark.

                Agree. The hype, buildup, and interest in the May-PAC fight was nowhere near this. I'd be shocked if it does less than 5 million and 7 million would. It be a surprise. This was bigger than the Super Bowl.

                  On my street I have only one house who is a fight fan, some Mexican guy and his family he always talks to me about the fights, yesterday the white families who dont even watch boxin or ufc, order this fight, they were having parties. I drove all the way down my street its a long ass street to make a turn to go to the main street to pick up some pizza and out of the 30 plus homes Id say at least 15 order the fight.

                  I could hear them yelling and screaming loud all night and saw everyone having parties.

                  When the May vs Pac fight happened it was only me and my neighbor who ordered it.

                  This fight is easily going to break the record, Conor can finally buy a Lambo and not rent it, he got a guarantee of 30 million and will wind up with at least 90 million.

                    Yea the last boxing ppv fight that had delay problems was mayweather vs pacquiao.


                    Also McGregor knows how to promote a fight unlike Pacquiao.

                      They promoted this fight like it was Tyson vs Holyfield
