Floyd was one of the first fighters in history to be fighter/promoter. In other words Floyd is a contractor.

    Let's take 2007 for example.

Could Cotto have beaten Hatton at 147? I'm sure he could have. Could Cotto have fought Spinks, who was the #1 JMW at the time instead of fighting Margarito and won a title in his 3rd weight class? I'm sure he could've.

Maybe Cotto should've fought #1 ranked JWW Junior Witter and brought him up to 147.

Maybe Cotto could've fought #1 Rafael Marquez who was #10 P4P instead of fighting Margarito. That would've been a Floyd move.

I mean I can play mix and match for days. All I have to do is look on a list, see who's ranked high in the rankings and on the P4P list and figure out who matches well with my style and opt to fight them. The problem with that is is many fighters don't have this luxury and thank God they don't because boxing would be a mess in shambles.

Let's take 2017 for example. Instead of fighting Spence, Kell Brook could've fought #1 Jorge Linares. Or maybe instead of fighting GGG, Brook could've fought BJS for a quick title at 160.

Is BJS not a title holder?

Floyd has perfected the art of mix and match for title victories. He's the fighter and promoter so who's gonna stop him? NSAC will sanction any bout Floyd tells them to because they know Floyd brings money.
so floyd pick and chose and beat more #1 ranked fighters in different divisions than anyone in history??

Name a fighter in history who beat more #1 ranked fighters in the divison being fought in than Mayweather.

      Mayweather beat 10.

Off the top of my head I can't think of anyone else that did. There might be, but off the top of my head I can't think of any.

Not bad for a cherry picker.
      wow.....lol wow

        So those examples don't work.
Who was ranked #1? Give me the names.

DLH sure as hell wasn't #1. Hatton wasn't even ranked as a WW. Marquez wasn't ranked as a WW.

Errol Spence or Keith Thurman might as well fight #1 Jorge Linares

          Makes sense.

Or maybe Cotto should've brought Junior Witter up from JWW because he was #1 in 08 instead of fighting little ol Margarito.

          I like your logic
Vernon Forrest was the #1 JMW in 08. Cotto ducked a Mosley rematch for Margarito. He thought Margarito would be easier.

You keep trying to hype Cotto but the guy has no great wins. He's overrated.

Yes because Floyd is a promoter/fighter. Floyd is a contractor who answers to no one. He's his own boss remember?

That means Floyd fights who he wants when he wants to fight them. If he she's a guy he's confident he can beat, he can fight him.

If he see's a guy he doesn't think he can beat, he can simply retire for a few years and come back when things die down. Sound familiar?

Floyd can fight Jeff Horn tomorrow. What's Jeff ranked? #1 maybe?

But who's the better matchup: #1 Jeff Horn or #2/3 Errol Spence?

No at the end of 2007, Spinks was #1. That means Cotto could've fought the #1 JMW summer of 2008 instead and ducked Margarito.

How could he have when Spinks lost to Phillips in March 08?

Ducked Margarito. He ducked a Mosley rematch to fight Margarito. Margarito was seen as an easier fight.

Again, **** example because Linares isn't ranked #1 at Welterweight.

                      Hernandez - #1 at 130
                      Corrales - #1 at 130
Castillo #1 at 135 (both times)
                      Gatti #1 at 140
                      Baldomir #1 at 147
                      Mosley #1 at 147
                      Cotto #1 at 154
                      Canelo #1 at 154
                      Pacquaio #1 at 147

10 fighters ranked #1 at the divison being fought in

Side note; Gatti was #1 at 140 but Tszyu was Ring Champion. Same for Castillo 2. However both were ranked #1 by The Ring's ranking system.
