At some point HBO has to put their foot down and tell GGG to accept the offer. They've invested millions in him and haven't gotten a return. How much longer can they continue investing in him without a return?

It's clear HBO wasn't happy with the returns of lemieux fight evident by the fact GGG had to wait a year and a half to be given another PPV. GGG next fight according to Tom will not be ppv. After these returns it's impossible to justify GGG fighting on PPV ever again unless it's opposite canelo.

K2 stop pricing GGG out and hiding the contract from him and let him sign. Offer will be worse if you wait for canelo/chavez numbers to come out. A fight that could Crack 1m ppvs.

I think Loeffler is a smart guy & if a $15M/Gtd offer was on deck he'd have grabbed that quicker than a fat girl goes for crab legs at the buffet. Honestly guys, if this article has any truth to it the only thing that has changed is that Mayweather and Conor McCgregor are likely looking at the September date to do their fight, Delahoya probably realizing this could happen and they have to try and close the deal as soon as possible with GGG vs. Canelo. The June date likely will push announcing the fight further back and could run the risk of being announced after Floyd vs McCgregor. Lets just say that if Canelo vs. GGG is announced first that Mayweather vs. McCgregor likely will not announce their fight for September, even though i think it is a circus show the two parties (i.e. Floyd vs McCgregor and GGG vs. Canello) know that it isn't good for business if the two events competed vs. eachother. This is also why there is a good chance that Delahoya is looking to not necessarily sweeten up the deal but to make it closer to what team GGG want so that it gets done and gets signed because as much as we like to talk about who will whip who's ass the longer the fight doesn't happen the less money GGG/Canelo/Teams make and that is likely number 1 priority of all camps.

K2 had an offer on the table to fight they didn't take it now that offer just went down. We all see what GGG worth is. Whatever you thought his stock was last week it's less today that's a fact this weekend hurt his value. His only 2 PPVs in the biggest fights of his career were failures. He's 35 years old and out GGG own mouth 2 weeks ago said he wanted 50% in canelo fight. Delusion and bad business from K2 are what's holding this fight up right now. He can stay fighting for 2m paydays on regular HBO or he can step up and get a huge career payday and a chance to become a star. Canelo doesn't need him he's already a star been part of numerous big ppvs. GGGs biggest fights make half of what canelos Worst fight makes. Chavez fight sold in in days, 2 months before the fight before an undercard is even announced. GGG couldn't sellout on sat and his ppv did less then lemieux while canelo/chavez might hit 1m buys.

If GGG makes things difficult they will just give someone else that Sept payday. Chavez as canelo B side will make more money then GGG makes on avg in 3 fights. He was offered more then chavez but chavez has haymon who's no fool and GGG has Tom who is over his head and pricing GGG out.
