He should make the saunders fight in June then rematch Jacobs and stop letting Oscar and Canelo yank their chains. If he gets through both those fights he will get what he wants more than likely from Canelo.

De La Hoya going to offer a percentage split, $15 mil off the table for Golovkin

If this fight tanks at the box office, then both fighters run the risk of taking shorts. Loeffler is rolling the dice here. He is banking on this fight breaking box office records. However in recent years, pay per view numbers have been constantly going down.Last edited by champion4ever; 03-23-2017, 05:17 PM.

For GBP and K2 to share $50mill in ppv rev the fight would have to sell a little over 1,500,000 ppv's at $65 each.
What ever number you're imagining you have to divide by 2, because half of the rev goes to networks. 750k ppv = $48.75m/2 = $24.3m. That's what they split.
Gate rev idk how it will be split but going by the Cotto fight, I predict $8-9mill in gate rev.
Canelo will get a lot more from Mexican tv deal, sponsors.

Total bull**** they want to make Golovkin wait 6 months, shows they don't want this fight. Having all the belts on the line makes this fight huge. If they really wanted it, they'd want him to fight bjs

They tell me I should go with Glazer's numbers, because he has a special technique to determine exact ppv-figures by counting facebook likes of his friends. I'm confused now.

So for Lemieux, you must use 97k. Now even though that same source claimed 190k-200k for Canelo-Smith, you must ignore that and go with 300k-350k buys for that fight.
For GGG-Jacobs, its best to just use 87k buys as the number. Because some poster here heard the "word on the street" that the number was 87k, and you know that poster is very well connected and nothing happens on "the street" without him getting a call......
