It will allow us to see how GGG answers certain questions about himself and what questions it will raise.

It will be interesting to see what Jacobs can prove against a very tough opponent. I think it will be fairly easy for Jacobs to exceed most expectation because people expect the breeze from a Golovkin punch to wobble him.

I still expect Jacobs to lose because I think Golovkin will just land too much on him but Jacobs is certainly going to get some of his in return.

Daniel should just train and be ready. He can do his talking in the ring. Stay humble and stop the posturing.

Jacobs got paid a good amount for this fight, so having got that payday he does have to put himself out there to help sell the fight.

Basically I would have to bet $1800 on GGG to win $100 and $800 to win $100 against GGG and the EXPERTS make up betting lines. But sone RTard thinks for some reason Lemuix smokes Jacobs??? Dude is high on some good FKN drugs and is hanging out with PEDketkin....
Betting Lines are calculated to draw EVEN money on both sides that way the house makes guaranteed. That is why the experts make them as you noted. The line is not a prognostication it is a number that is offered to draw even money. If you have any clue, the majority of heavy betting action is circulated out of the New York area, whether its NFL, MLB, NBA or fights, Jacobs in this case is the "hometown" pick, and would obviously be never given the same amount of pay back as Lemieux

??? OK and I guess the Kliz Bros got the home favorite all the time??? BS! The odds are based on a a lot of sht but home field counts very lil. EXPERTS will jump on shty. Odds like white on rice. ***!!! Look at Kov. And Ward??? 50/50 almost??? That fight was soo down the middle they couldn't do it another other way. If I saw either side go ****** odds I was on it... The odds betsR BAD for GGG for a reason 99℅ of the time because he fight shty fighters.... Give anyone 8-1 odds against Ward or Kov. Against GGG and see all the $$$$ on them with maybe 97 fans betting GGG. Don't be a RTard. The experts are what move lines. Not your POS $20 -100 casual fan bets.

So if Golovkin's opponents have been B, Jacob's opponents have been.........
Simply taking a look at the overall ledger, and not looking at the names on the actual ledger, is the reason why promoters have been carefully matching fighters against stumblebums for ages.

Jacobs hasn't been fighting King Kong every time out, but the folks that Jacobs has fought matter, bad ledger slate or not (fighting two guy with upside down records, in his two fights after Pirog, can basically explain the near entire skew in the overall number; pull the first two and you're looking at 232-33, for a win percentage of nearly 88%).

Gennady Golovkin's last 12 opponents were, in order, Gabriel Rosado (solid junior middleweight fighter making his debut at 160lbs), Nobuhiro Ishida (solid junior middleweight fighter, who was just routed by Dmitry Pirog in is 160 debut), Matthew Macklin (decent middleweight fighter with no wins over a legit fighter), Curtis Stevens (decent middleweight with no big wins), Osumanu Adama (solid middleweight), Daniel Geale (good middleweight), Marco Antonio Rubio (solid middleweight who had weight issues), Martin Murray (solid middleweight), Willie Monroe Jr (middleweight prospect, with one fight on his ledger worth even mentioning), David Lemieux (solid middleweight), Dominic Wade (middleweight prospect, with one fight on his ledger worth even mentioning), Kell Brook (a top-level welterweight, fighting two divisions up).

Quillin, Mora (twice), and Truax have ledgers that let you know that they are more than solid middleweights, with Fletcher/Nunez/Lorenzo seemingly being solid/decent middleweight (the rest of the ledger, from what I can tell, is the type of cannon-fodder type opposition that you'd line up for a guy coming off of a cancer diagnosis).

Te desperation to try and save face for Golovkin is laughable.

Stopped reading there. Not interested in Jacobs's assessments of Golovkin's opponents if he says something ******ed like that.
How many opponents on Golovkin's current ledger were seen as better fighters heading into their fights than Kell Brook jumping up two divisions for his fight?
