i'd have to watch it back, but round 10 i gave very very clearly to kovalev, round 12 was closer from my memory although the punch stats say otherwise. im sure there was another fairly obvious kovalev round in the second half of the fight too.

u cant. i dont understand how anyone gives ward those rounds. i thought 12 was even the clearest that kovalev won that round. yet 2 of the 3 blind judges gave it to ward hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha what a mockery. no wonder boxing is dead.

He didn't.
Kovalev won 5 of the first 6 rounds and a couple rounds down the stretch.
Not to mention, Ward was stealing most of the rounds that he won. Kovalev won his rounds clearly.

(no cry baby) I'm legit curious- because if Ward did legit win those rounds, then it was closer then I thought. but as of now, it's looking more and more like a robbery due to incorrect judging of those two rounds.
Anybody got good justification for Ward winning those two rounds?

I mean it's an absolute mockery to the human race to give Ward round 12.

The problem is that we have these narratives that determine how a boxer wins
Kovalev landed more, had a good KD, and was in trouble at any point. 4 good jabs a win dont make.
Ward got away with it because he is Ward and judges expect him to win ugly versus Kov expected to KO.

Generalship is a hazy meaningless concept to justify when your guy does not clearly win

Still waiting on somebody to justify Ward winning rounds 10 and 12: IF nobody can come up with how Ward won both of those rounds- then the general consensus should go down that Kovalev got robbed, because, well, those rounds, just one of them would of officially gave him the win.
