And holy sh it you're delusional and ******ed, are you aware of that or do you honestly believe you're normal? Truly amazing. This guy is talking about MORA lmao, blaming Golovkin for Canelo dropping his belt rather even negotiate and fight. There is no way to debate with ******ity.

Learn the definition of fact. Learn how to multi quote. Stop BOLDING and capitalizing so much. Less brain aneurysms may occur for readers. If not, I suggest everyone simply puts this clown on ignore.

wow, that was a good ol cry

No, my claim is that when Hearn mentioned the relatively-unknown, completely-undeserving, WELTERWEIGHT, Kell Brook..... Team Bull**** did not start crying about money, they split the pot fairly with Hearn because they actually wanted to fight Brook.

On top of that, Daniel Jacobs would clearly be the best fighter that Golovkin has been in with as a professional, giving the free media folks (ESPN/sports radio/NYC radio/etc) a reason to churn on the fight, with Daniel Jacobs' personal story possibly being big enough to help crossover the non-sports audience, and you've got the makings of something.

People ignore the point, but Daniel Jacobs is an American fighter, born and raised in Brooklyn, NYC; Jacobs can push the fight on NYC radio, with banter across ESPN, and with a likeable relatability on daytime TV or late night (with no issues about any possible hangups with the English language).

Golovkin-Lemieux had near none of that (I've never seen Golovkin ever do a radio interview, let alone head to Hot97/ The Breakfast Club/ Sway in the Morning/etc to push anything), and was a far worse actual fight on paper.
in other words, not so significant. All that raised-in-the-usa "we live in Brooklyn baby" shyt didn't do squat for the ratings or ticket sales. Jacobs has no fan base worth mentioning and doesn't generate revenue. The value he brings is not so significant outside of his background and the promotional storyline of this being perhaps GGG's sternest test yet.

I'm not paid by any party with a vested interest in this bout so I can keep it real: This is nothing more than an intriguing fight. if it doesn't get made, all attention moves to "what is GGG's next move" and Danny will be at risk of "fading into bolivian."

I hope Danny takes the fight because its his biggest opportunity by far. For GGG, we get to see him tested vs a skilled middleweight who can move and punch.

If Mr 97k cannot afford to pay Jacobs more than "Quillin money"..... then Jacobs can likely find better risk/reward fights himself.....

Team "we-really-want-to-fight, honest" are well-aware of that.

I cannot see why the guy who refused to fight Canelo for 10mil would want to fight Danny Jacobs for 4mil.

That makes no sense at all.

At a guess..... this fight will fall over, and Golovkin/Jacobs will both proceed to fight an underwhelming opponent next up.

CLEARLY, Team Golovkin could do more to make this fight happen.

            from the other thread.....

..... Team Golovkin couldn't care less if Jacobs refuses 25% and walks..... they don't care about that fight as much as the fans do. There are much easier fights where Golovkin will get a much higher percentage therefore earning similar money.

They will fight Jacobs if they have to, but I think that they are low-balling him into walking..... if that fight wasn't mandated, I'm not even sure that they would be in discussion.

I am positive that they see Jacobs as an unnecessary risk..... they don't need to fight him, which is likely why they did not force the mandatory with the WBA and have never appeared to seriously chase that fight, and likely why they are having so many "problems" negotiating.

Why the hell would you turn down Canelo for 10mil, and then fight Jacobs for 4mil?

I think they want Jacobs to walk, enabling them to fight TBA for 2.5mil. Their MO to date is..... easy wins for good money ONLY (gradually improving our viewership/revenue), unless we can pick up an easy win for great money, like Lemieux/Brook.

Jacobs doesn't fit into that MO.

They are making standard risk/reward decisions, just like everyone else.

And I am not suggesting for 1 second that Jacobs is any keener to face Golovkin, in what would be a real tough fight for not much more money than he makes with PBC.

If the WBA had not forced the mandatory, I doubt there would be any discussion at all.

Golovkin has to take **** and everyone else has to get the best deal possible. That's what I'm getting from aboutfktime, even tho GGG has fought around the world, earned his place after getting frozen in Germany and doesn't fight in his backyard all the time like Andre Ward. Canelo could have taken it to pursue bid when he had the belt. So now you want ggg to do the opposite of what Canelo did but you blame him for what Canelo did? I'm confused. GGG has to take the 60/40 from Jacobs AND no percentage from Canelo? Why does he have to take the ****tier deal when he's the A AND B side? lol ridiculous

The idea that a defending champion has to chase his far-lesser-known mandatory challenger, one who generates little revenue, is hilariously absurd. It's usually the other way around.

                  He's busy trolling WW's.

His team offered Jacobs significantly less than he made vs Quilllan.

Lowbolling guys is one shi.tty way to chase fighters.

GGG turned down 10 million to fight Canelo

He's old with shot to hell reflexes...that's why he's matched like a 24 y/o prospect instead of a 34 y/o ten year veteran.

His handlers see what his fans do not.
