Thanks but that is between two fights so it's slightly different. However let's say I'm wrong though and this fight goes for 5 million, do you think Jacobs fights for 1.25 million?

Yes, he's on the ****ty end of a split but that still ain't peanuts. And it's for 3 belts. It's now or never for Jacobs.

One of the ways the fight doesn't happen is if Team Jacobs wins the bid and puts the fight on Showtime. GGG vacates instead of violating his deal with HBO. (Think of Kovalev dropping out of purse bid with Adonis). The 75/25 split almost guarantees that Team Jacobs does not win the purse bid – why bid a massive amount to pay the other guy the lion's share? I know Haymon bid $5M for Deontay/Povetkin, but that was not a 25% split for Deontay.

My understanding is that Jacobs can fight on HBO, so he can fight if Team GGG wins the bid or if the two sides make a deal.

Do we know for a fact he can't fight off HBO? It's strange that nobody has asked Loeffler that question. He was just on with Fischer, and Steve Kim talks to him everyday but nobody has asked him that question.

I would think Jacobs could get atleast 65/35 simply by agreeing to fight on HBO and in MSG. We don't know the details, but I don't think the split is as much the issue as Danny's minimum guarantee. If Danny's asking for atleast $3mill, that's probably going to kill this fight regardless of the split.

Well the issue here is that the provincial athletic commission insist on same day weigh in. Some say this is good some say its bad, the sanctioning bodies prefer day before weigh ins so that is why there are no big fights here. AStevenson defended vs Karpency here and that was the first world title fight held here in a long time probably since Ali-Chuvalo! and afterwards WBC stated they would not have their belts defended in Ontario under those weigh in rules. As far as Canadian interest, guys like Rivas, Bizier, they are only known by their friends, families and neighbours. In this country we rely on US broadcasts there is no Canadian sports channel producing any regularly shown content. It's too bad but boxing is definitely the hardest sport to be a fan of in this country ...TSN and Sportsnet would rather show poker? wtf?

2) K2 requested an early purse-bid
3) the WBA ignored their request, and did the exact opposite by extending the deadline. Why do you think they did that, genius?

Get real, K2 are notoriously difficult to negotiate with, it is clearly obvious whats up.

As well in Canada we are not walking around with handguns shooting each other and at police.There is no ******** law. In Canada we had no slavery, so the lingering effects of racism that still exist today in the US is a non issue, and believe it or not our free medical health care has not turned us into communists, as your government and media will have you believe. The differences are vast, but most just have to look at the 2 individuals your nation has settled upon to choose the next president to see that the biggest disparity is education.
