Also, please go back and read where I indicated that premium seats prices would make up what the networks don't cover. Let me help you understand something...a fights monetary value isn't determined by if it's on ppv or not. Some fights are directed to ppv to maximize it's value, but nothing says that the networks cannot or will not put money up for this type of fight to be on their network.

You must get treated like whale dung at work because you get on these threads and start calling people names like a school girl when folks don't agree with you.
Theyre not gonna mark up the tickets 5x dude, don't be ridiculous. You can't come up with 1 premium cable show with a 5m total purse, gotcha. I knew you couldn't, doesn't happen. It especially won't happen vs a wide underdog mando he just fought in Reading PA with most leaving after undercard, and had that BK mega flop vs Quillin.

Haymon bid 5m for Wilder Povetkin. Wilder is more valuable, more popular, far better chance of winning, much better purse share, with the prospect of having to go to Russia if he lost. And that's when the money was flowing freely. Use your head for once

he doesnt know what he is talking about. For the fight to generate 10-12 million in purses, plus the undercard, promotion, and associated expenses, it would need to do in the neighborhood of 300k buys, a good live gate, and plenty of sales of foreign rights....

Again you refuse to use your head. If it's the biggest fight in boxing, both guys are bringing a lot to the table. Canelo vs Lemieux or Saunders will struggle to sell 350k. It's the norm for major ppvs, but esp for the biggest fight in the sport.

So you're saying that Wilder is worth the same or more than Trip? Lastly...what forces this fight to A) Be in December B) Not be on ppv if necessary to make the money right?

What's more important, making the fight or keeping a date? As a fan....I'd rather wait.

Wilder isn't more popular than GGG.

Wilder's more popular than Jacobs, who Haymon would be bidding on behalf of

                      See above.

It's been mandated for December, long time coming. If Jacobs doesn't like the date, fine drop the belt and come back when ready.
