It especially won't happen vs a wide underdog mando he just fought in Reading PA with most leaving after undercard, and had that BK mega flop vs Quillin.

Haymon bid 5m for Wilder Povetkin. Wilder is more valuable, more popular, far better chance of winning, much better purse share, with the prospect of having to go to Russia if he lost. And that's when the money was flowing freely. Use your head for once
You have a PhD in making up **** to argue against. Said nothing about 5x marked up tickets. Also, if Wilder vs Povetkin is worth 5M....Trip vs Jacobs is worth almost 8M. There are 3 worthy MW candidates...these two and Alvarez. Promoted properly this can be a big fight. Loeffler is quoted as believing the same thing.

It's been mandated for December, long time coming. If Jacobs doesn't like the date, fine drop the belt and come back when ready.
So the WBA will kill the fight if it's not in December? I think not. If terms are agreed upon and there are no interim bouts, they will green light January to make more money.

I'm not sure Wilder Povetkin is even worth 5m, that's the most Haymon was willing to bid (at a loss) in MUCH more favorable circumstances. There's no big fight outside of ppv for 8m. But don't trust me, do some research.

I would bet a steak dinner that $6 million would win the bid. So let Haymon bid $6 million (at the 75-25 split), and then he can give Jacobs the extra $2 million on the side and everyone is happy.

Doesn't look like it. I think the Wba by now realize this guy has no intention of fighting Ggg anyway

All Haymon fighters want big paydays when they are fighting a threat. When a Haymon fighter knows they have a high chance of catching an L, They demand a high purse considering they're making 1.5 mil to fight bums. Team Lil G should know this and if they finally want a good name on his resume, he's going to have to offer at least 35%.

Jacobs knows he's going to lose. Haymon already said he would pay him the extra 1.5 -2 million if he takes the fight but he has to win.

After you remove all the BS, all that is left is the truth. We are about to find out the truth about Jacobs. Does he truly want to fight Golovkin or is he just another Peter Quillin -- a guppy who thinks he is a shark?

One question no one has brought up is what are the chances of Haymon purposely overbidding and putting the fight on Showtime as a bluff just to see if HBO would even let GGG fight on Showtime. That way he could get Jacobs out of the fight, "let it marinate", get the belt, claim GGG ducked them, and not even have to pay anyone once GGG pulled out. Feel free to correct me if any of that is wrong, I don't really know the finer details of contracts in boxing.
