It's been mandated for December, long time coming. If Jacobs doesn't like the date, fine drop the belt and come back when ready.

Loeffler is quoted as believing the same thing.

All Haymon fighters want big paydays when they are fighting a threat. When a Haymon fighter knows they have a high chance of catching an L, They demand a high purse considering they're making 1.5 mil to fight bums. Team Lil G should know this and if they finally want a good name on his resume, he's going to have to offer at least 35%.

Jacobs knows he's going to lose. Haymon already said he would pay him the extra 1.5 -2 million if he takes the fight but he has to win.

After you remove all the BS, all that is left is the truth. We are about to find out the truth about Jacobs. Does he truly want to fight Golovkin or is he just another Peter Quillin -- a guppy who thinks he is a shark?

One question no one has brought up is what are the chances of Haymon purposely overbidding and putting the fight on Showtime as a bluff just to see if HBO would even let GGG fight on Showtime. That way he could get Jacobs out of the fight, "let it marinate", get the belt, claim GGG ducked them, and not even have to pay anyone once GGG pulled out. Feel free to correct me if any of that is wrong, I don't really know the finer details of contracts in boxing.
