say if he could though make 168 pounds and they could face off in the ring I could see ward frustrating golovkin through out the fight with his style..

Both sides have moved on for the time being as far as future opponents are concerned. Now, both sides need to move on from all that back and forth and shut up. I wasn't even that amused by that fight anyway...
sure it has
well, I find it a little difficult to believe the proven liars who have never signed a meaningful fight EVER..... over the proven 168 kingpin who just signed a much harder fight at LHW
especially considering that 164 catchweight demand
I would say you are of the few who can't seem to figure it out

... and glad that you provided link to this article... because it clearly shows what was the "weight issue"... read carefully:
<< Ward returned last month after being away from the ring since November of 2013. He stopped Paul Smith in the ninth round of a fight which took place at 172-pounds. If Ward puts together a few good wins and gets the buzz going again, Golovkin's position on the weight might have some wiggle room.
"That's something that would be a discussion amongst the team. And if we all came to the consensus that it was the right thing to do, at that point, then yes we'd consider budging on the weight. But right now, as it stands, he has to come to 164 if he wants to fight Gennady," Sanchez said.>>
If Ward weighed 172 for Smith, as he worked his way back down to SMW after 18 months of inactivity..... why on earth did they demand 164 ?

And here is a quote from Ward that proves what Abel says is true. ''My body feels good. I don't think I can make 168 anymore. 175 isn't easy to make. I'm not doing anything crazy but it's not easy to make.''//krikya360.com/andre-ward-rules-out-fights-168-175-not-easy-make--107486

They just told Ward that if he wanted to fight GGG at 168 he should get back to them in 2017.

Ward educating casuals on how GGG is better both on offence AND defense than one of the best boxer punchers ever, making GGG perhaps THE best. These are Ward's own words on just how good GGG is.

Was GGG holding a title in Ward's division?
Was Ward his mandatory challenger?
Did GGG make a step aside deal with Ward promising to fight him next if he was allowed a voluntary?
Did GGG call Ward into the ring after that voluntary fight and tell his fans he was going to fight him next?
Did he then hand over his world title without a fight instead of keeping his word?
