Abel is right, Ward is all talk and absolutely no substance when it came to rematches with Kessler and Froch on foreign ground on grounds where the fight would be much bigger Ward backed down and fought lesser opponents he also did same with GGG and Adonis Stevenson in 2013.

Andre Ward fans are delusional I won't say Ward is delusional because he knows he is taking a bunch of simpletons for a ride a bunch of simpletons that can't add 1 and 1 together on contrary I don't blame Ward for that I blame the idiotic fans for being so gullible.

Lying again. Dude every other post of yours is lies.

They said "maybe 2017" not that they would fight Ward in 2017.

        Boxing Trainers Love To Talk

Why do people get excited about what boxing trainers say? Sanchez says some interesting things and makes some statements that are off the wall.
        Most trainers are the same.
Remember back in 2009, when Virgil Hunter said Ward would be heavyweight champ by the time he was 32?

So they supposedly "knew" that Ward couldn't make 168, and asked him to come to 164, but then would give him a fight at 168 a full year later in 2017? OK, I get it! They didn't want the fight, demanded a CW, and then priced themselves out (50/50) of the fight! I'm not mad at them, because after what I saw what Brook did, Ward would've been a nightmare! K2 made a very good "business move." Their only mistakes were saying "Anybody from 154 to 168, and GGG is not businessman!"

Both sides have moved on for the time being as far as future opponents are concerned. Now, both sides need to move on from all that back and forth and shut up. I wasn't even that amused by that fight anyway...

They got an offer from Ward to fight at 168 in 2016. They didn't ask for any catchweight in response to that. Didn't Ward himself complain that they didn't even try to negotiate with him?

They just told Ward that if he wanted to fight GGG at 168 he should get back to them in 2017.

... and glad that you provided link to this article... because it clearly shows what was the "weight issue"... read carefully:

<< Ward returned last month after being away from the ring since November of 2013. He stopped Paul Smith in the ninth round of a fight which took place at 172-pounds. If Ward puts together a few good wins and gets the buzz going again, Golovkin's position on the weight might have some wiggle room.
"That's something that would be a discussion amongst the team. And if we all came to the consensus that it was the right thing to do, at that point, then yes [we'd consider budging on the weight]. But right now, as it stands, he has to come to 164 if he wants to fight Gennady," Sanchez said.>>
After being out for two years he cam in at something comfortable and was willing to go down later. The same thing Mickey Garcia is doing. The weight issue was still 164 for team ggg because they didn't want the fight

But when Andre was at 168 this is what Team GGG was saying in reality:

Golovkin's Coach: Andre Ward Must Go to 164 or No Fight

He outgrew da weight class and never wanted it, just using GGG's name to big himself up.

The guy was fighting at like 175 in the amateurs ffs.

It's probably a good thing this fight never happened at 164. If getting to LHW is not easy for Ward then boiling down to a 164 catch-weight would've had him severely dehydrated. He most likely would have been a little sluggish, giving GGG an edge in power and a legitimate chance to get the win.

Ward said he would fight at 168 at THAT TIME. LATER he said he couldn't make 168 anymore. But after his first fight back at 172, yea he could have came down to 68 to fight lil G. Now not so much.
