everyone hating on him now, needs to realise hes not going to be around forever. Once in a generation we get a fighter like this and you spend your time making pathetic remarks, calling him g string, triple hype, gaylovekin, mr 97k etc. How can you call yourself fans of the sport yet you hate this guy? Its like a tennis fan saying djokovic is overrated, a golf fan saying tiger woods was never that great.

He is what the sports been crying out for, a top level talent, who is humble, a role model and entertains the fans.
Im struggling to think of any fighter recently, with the skill set to outbox anyone but who deliberately exchanges punches and takes shots he doesnt need to because he wants the fans to get their moneys worth. The guy even fought with the flu once because he didnt want to let fans down. GGG is always looking to land big punches and deliver a dramatic ending, theres no such thing as a safety first UD.

You should be careful what you wish for, cause sooner or later this guys going to retire and you might get a boring guy as the face of the sport, and you are going to be wishing that golovkin was still around delivering excitement

Oh please lol. Im far from a GGG hater but come on now lol. Hea far from a ATG cause of his resume. He could be but he needs to stepup in the next 3 4 years. We have many who are really ATG. Dont start with once in a generation talent please.

HBO can make another GGG in a heartbeat. Now, he is highly skilled and he can punch, but you don't really know how good he is because he hasn't fought anyone of real merit.

He doesn't transcend the sport nor has he shown the ability to be a bankable star.

I get you like him but to put him in a calss of ATG's just isn't fair. Let him earn his spot, don't give it to him just because he looks different than most of the true once in a generation boxers.

GGG is a beast but no he is NOT something this sport never seen before, in fact he is John "The Beast" Mugabi 2.0 before he fought Hagler IMO which is not a bad thing at all. No excuses for IGNORANCE in 2016 when we have Google and Youtube, Educate yourself on the sport and learn more about it than just the last 1-3 years
