and Canelo said he would fight GGG at 160. So whats your point?

Part of the problem with GGG's career is the people around him and their unwillingness to budge to make fights fans want to see. If you can't get meaningful fights at 160 he should of moved up or down for big fights YEARS ago. Now he's stuck waiting ATLEAST another year waiting for Canelo to do what he refuses to do himself...MOVE UP. Difference is Canelo is only 26 and already a big star he has time. GGG is 35 and talked about moving up half a decade ago. Passing on Ward back in 2015 was a mistake and trying to dictate terms to Canelo was an even bigger one.
So we can expect Kovalev to become a star if he beats Ward?

      Somehow I don't think so.

Boxing in the US is dying a death at present, expect Golovkin to return to the United Kingdom.

I've been saying that before... they gave absolutely no credit to chocolatito.... but if you ask any hispanic fan who chocolatito is... they know exactly who he is... its just a shame really on the gggroupies.

I WILL ONLY FIGHT HIM AT 160. That somehow now isn't good enough for you? Canelo's camp has to draw up a contract for a fight that the other side is refusing to fight at Canelo's weight. LOL Canelo is the A side here you don't play games like this with the A side. Can't say well Canelo wasn't going to fight him at catchweight anyway so we refused to fight him at that weight. Only way to prove that would of been if GGG said yes I will go down in weight to make the fight. Instead it was like an idiot trying to bluff when he has a pair of 2s and the other guy has 4 aces. It backfired.
what kind of moron gives up a negotiating point before talks have even begun?

I hope some of the reasonable GGG fans call this guy on this. I mean I get some of you want GGG to do well but c'mon.
GTFO with that dumb ****. Broadcast happened on the same day, one at an irregular time for boxing fans and the other at the normal time.

Only a complete fuqing idiot would pretend that all same people watched that afternoon and that evening.

Ratings is all about how many different people watched so if 850k watched at 4:30 and 600K different people watched at 10 why would you not add the totals when both happened the same day?

You and your butt buddies aren't on my level Dunn so come correct next time before responding to me.

Golovkin's fight was at 2:45 in the afternoon, against a fighter that many had dismissed as a grossly undersized victim. Now some of you guys are clowning because of his low numbers. What did you expect?

The extended length of the bout stayed with the home audience, as the Feb. 21 late afternoon special edition of HBO World Championship Boxing generated 862,000 viewers. The event peaked at 938,000 home viewers, and—combined with its exclusive prime-time rebroadcast later that evening—was watched by 1.433 million homes.

my point is he lied.........just like canelo lied.

canelo wants 155........who's the "A side" in that situation? golovkin or canelo? canelo. so who is the one to likely give in to weight. golovkin. but why deny 155 to 158? when he's already A "small middleweight" and can make "154"

                  why...........

Oh wow. I didn't know that the replay replay is only those watching it for the first time.

Yea, if a show plays during the day, and shows a replay you have to combine them. Because the views during the day aren't representative enough.

Otherwise how do you explain the discrepancy? Is Brook a lesser name than Wade and Monroe? Did a large portion of people just get tired of GGG and say "we're not going to watch him anymore?". It's possible, but unlikely.
