GGG bigger than most Middleweights? Why?

Do you think Golovkin is a big middleweight that is too big for other middleweights.

If you think so then why?

For the record I think he is an average sized middleweight just like Floyd is an average sized Welterweight.

Also, this has nothing to do with defending the Brook fight as a great choice. Why either guy wanted this fight I'm not sure but conventional thinking says that Brook will get steamrolled/beatdown. Respect for Brook taking it though.

No, he is an average sized Middleweight...very compact and strong..Most likely walks around at 170-175, but stays in shape..

Compared to most guys in his division, he's small, because he keeps in shape 365 days a year. If he was a normal fighter who fought twice a year and let himself go a little bit during the intermissions, he'd be right about average.

The reason I say he's small now is because his rehydration weights have been within 2 lbs of 170, which makes him slightly undersized. He has weighted less than at least 7 (most likely 8, since Martin Murray's weight was not posted, but he moved to SMW after) of his last opponents.

15 lbs is about average rehydration for guys between MW and LHW.
10 lbs is slightly less, which makes Golovkin small.
20 lbs is big, which is what makes Canelo huge against all of his competition.

        Martinez - 165, 168
        Proksa - 166
        Zbik - 165
        Taylor - 166, 169, 171
        Lee - 167.5
        Pavlik - 168, 171
        Hopkins - 166, 168, 169
        Wright - 168
        Barker - 168
        Jacobs - 170
        Pirog - 170
        Quillin - 170
        Macklin - 172
        Monroe - 172
        Miranda - 173
        Korobov - 173, 174

As you can see Golovkin isn't a small MW at all, so can we stop the nonsense.

People who don't know **** think GGG puts on 20lbs over night like Chavez Jr and Pavlik
          Golovkin is a natural MW

After moving up in weight and then back down. He weighed around the same before that.

Golovkin isn't a small MW no need to get all salty.

The confusion comes because from his last 10 fights, he's been outweighed 8 times.
Then he had the same weight than Macklin and two pounds more than proska.

And because there are some JMW's that weight the same than him, then people say he's a small MW.

                  He's just an average mw.

He just seems to be right where he belongs weight wise. Looks like he's healthy making 160...doesn't look too big or small vs anyone he fights...

He could probably make 154 judging by his 30 day weigh in but why kill yourself to drop down if you don't want to...
