they accepted his terms because it actually help them. that's a poor excuse not to use a 155 lb CW.

Fun to have many divisions in boxing. This is a Canelo division you're talking about. Just like there was a Mayweather division when he fought him.

      Fans need to make adjustments.

They want that pay check, thats why they accepting his terms, and since they make weight easier than Canelo, it actually helps Alvarez.

Seems like canelo ****ting his pants lately.

Ive even debated with some canelo fans on here that tried to say 155 is middlweight and isnt a catchweight. wtf!?
Because Canelo has never weight-drained (bringing a bigger fighter down out of his established fighting weight) any of his opponents like the way Floyd drained him at 152 or how Manny drained Margarito at 150 and Cotto at 145 etc. He fought jr. middleweights a pound above the jr. middleweight/super welterweight limit so no fighter had an advantage over the other/they were all fair and even fights.

And of course he's not a middleweight, what are you talking about? He hasn't fought at 160 or any real middleweights at the mw limit before.

That belt was fought at a 155 lb cw between two super welterweights, Cotto and Canelo. It was the fight that everyone wanted to see at the time, the paper belt was 2nd fiddle.

If he can't get down to 154, why torture his body to get down to 152, 155, 155, 155, 155, and 155 for the last three years? The criticism doesn't make any sense.

When it became clear that getting down to 140lbs was bad for Danny Garcia, he and his camp made sure to give him 3 pounds to make things easier. Canelo only giving himself a single pound, from a weight that he "can't even get to", is a ****** way to do business.

Obviously cause he's looking for an excuse to avoid his mando. Ffs he asked for 156 vs midget Cotto. Must have grown smaller since

Because he can actually make 155, i think he struggles to do it though but as long as he can do it then he will because he can play the "i'm not a middleweight" card to avoid Golovkin, even though he walks around heavier than GGG.

And before anybody says "if GGG is smaller, fighting at 155 shouldn't be a problem" - i would agree in some cases, but it will be for the MIDDLEWEIGHT title and should be defended properly.
