      He's a solid draw in Montreal, not so much in the States. So whos bringing in 2m in gate in the US vs a Lemieux type?

        Who cares? PPV is where the real money is and Little G is a failure, kicked back to regular HBO begging Canelo for another PPV outing.

          OK, so how many active fighters can sell 150k on HBO ppv vs a Lemieux type? My guess is 3, with 2 of them close to retirement.

            97k? Lots of fighters could sell 97k but it's not worth it for HBO to put fights like that on, which is why Little G is back on regular HBO.

            Shot to **** Mosley v Mayorga did more than that didn't it?

                  I don't know if this is the answer. Still not in favor of day before weigh-ins. Sounds great and safe, but I'm more in favor of having weigh-ins be day of. Discipline, self control and responsibility. If the fighter doesn't have the maturity or intelligence to be able to do that then that's his and his team's fault.
