Ward needs to be attacked hard and dirty by elbows and low blows and pokes to the eyes and stepping on Wards feet, head butting and tripping the undefeated Ward.. That's how you beat a slick fast talent like Andre Ward. kids like Ward don't like it rough and usually back away from punishment and dirty tactics. Barrera is no pushover and should challenge Andre with a tough fight. But again Ward is in Oakland at home so look for a Ward. win.

I lurk on this site mostly because certain fan bases have fighters that are so devoted that you could tell them that 1 + 1 = 2, and they'd spin it into something else that a fighter's promoter said so Mayweather ducked Mosley. Some posters come here just to **** on certain fighters. Regardless of the thread topic, they'll work in guys they don't like to either troll and/or deal with emotional baggage eating away at them. That, and the unchecked racism is getting to be tiresome.

While I feel that GGG didn't duck Ward per se, I do feel that he had no real intentions of fighting him. He had to know Ward would not accept 164. He's not Floyd Mayweather to be making a demand like that.

Unfortunately, it woke Rip Van Ward up which pretty much forced them into the 164 thing as damage control as they knew Ward was way too much risk for the potential reward at the time and also that Andre couldn't/wouldn't be forced by anyone to make the weight

Andre should just go ahead and take the opportunity to fight in front of a large crowd like he has done before, put on a great performance like he has done before and then call out triple G in front of everyone.. I'm willing to bet if he puts on a dominating performance triple G fans will run and scream for Kovalev to save him.

Any boxer who publicly called out a smaller man, one or maybe 2 divisions below him, in front of a boxing crowd, then refused to even discuss a CW, would be viewed as a cherry picking coward.

If Ward wants to impress the MSG crowd, he should call out Kovalev, not GGG.
