If Fury beats Klitschko in the rematch, Fury vs Joshua is a massive fight in the UK, with or without the paper IBF belt, which Fury didn't even lose in the first place.

I've been defending Joshua against the "he scared" crew lately over this fight, but I got no problem with them deciding to try to get a title fight in April. I mean the reality of this fight is that outside of the title fight aspect, Martin coulda easily been the type of guy Joshua decided to fight next. I'd say Martin is on par more or less with Dillian Whyte minus his flukey, weird title W.

With Martin, off the rip, asking for $2m-$3m for the fight, I'm categorically stating that, at that price, Matchroom should go elsewhere.
It's obvious that Tyson Fury, if he beats Klitschko again, is going after the unification fight with Wilder; which would make the situation even bigger for Joshua. Tyson Fury beats Wilder, he comes home for a massive stadium fight against Anthony Joshua on Sky Box Office (for a ****load of money in the pot); Wilder beat Fury, and you set up a massive US/UK Olympic medalist showdown that has PPV interest on both shores, and the type of personalities to elevate the fight into the casual sports audience (for a ****load of money).
Anthony Joshua is on the verge of being the top challenger for the WBC, WBO, and IBF heavyweight championship; there's no way that negotiations with all three champions, when Joshua is starting to emerge as a box office hit, seem headed to purse bids. use your head.
and 500k PPV is only ~7.5m British pounds ($10.5m); once the broadcaster takes their piece of the pie, you're left with the equivalent of $6.5m in the final pot, before adding in the live gate and then paying out anything (venue rental, commission fees, medical, marketing, fighter purses, etc).
Even if the gate drives the pot up to $10m, you still have to deduct all the expenses of putting on the event, the rest of the purses for the other fighters on the show, pay out $2m to Martin, pay out whatever Jushua is entitled to as the event's star, and Eddie Hearn is left to eat his hat.

I wouldn't fault AJ or Martin for taking this fight. If Joshua gets the belt he'll have a lot more leverage in the heavyweight division.

. Obvious the dumbo above don't see it your way buddy .....yeah your right and it's a big unification fight next summer at Wembley stadium ....that's the biggun in the future
