but a month or 6 from now, when there has been NO attempt whatsoever at making GGG-Hops, maybe you will figure it out.......

But lets make it interesting. I'll bet $100 that there will never be a serious attempt to make GGG-Hops. Money gets paid to the charity of your choice, and I'll post a photo of the receipt. You game?
It didn't go over my head, it just doesn't read like he is joking. I get he took a jab at ward but that surely doesn't make everything he said a joke.

    define "serious"?

How will we know if there has been "no attempt" to make it? what if they do and it falls through and we do not hear about it?

Canelo-Khan was an exception, because usually we hear about these things. And its not like I'm going to welsh over a measly hundred bucks. If they try and make the fight, I'll pony up. And I'll also call it for the BS that it would be.

      So how about you?

I don't think its the worst fight in the world. Especially if it were made INSTEAD of this Wade garbage. I think its also acceptable if the Canelo fight doesn't fight in Sept. It actually makes sense. Hopkins attracts mainstream attention. My only issue was buddy saying its a bigger fight than the Ward fight. Its not.
Ward only got 350k viewers on a free to air channel in his last fight.

If GGG vs Ward got 300k+ PPV buys that would be because of Golovkin, not Ward.

Andre would still expect 50% of the purse though.

And until he proves me wrong by beating somebody with a pulse, I'm saying BHop is a tougher opponent than Ward.

BHop went the distance with Kovalev. I don't believe Ward could do the same.

What? Man you're hella weird. I quoted the first part because it's a specific part of your comment I wanted to respond to and the second part I didn't really understand your question (I haven't read through this entire thread so maybe I missed something). Regardless if you feel slighted or whatever I'll try my best to address it here:

Why aren't GGG fans in this thread posting he shouldn't move to 168 because of unification like they do whenever another 168lb fight comes up?
I'm not sure what you're saying/implying here and I cant speak for anyone else but myself. Personally, I think Golovkin is/will/should attempt to unify. I think that's obvious...he's going after Canelo & Saunders. At some point, if he simply cannot get these fights, he might have to abandon this idea. If the WBC gives another extension, if Saunders fights some domestic fights in the UK, how long can golovkin fight Dominic Wades & Willie Monroes? He's 34 now so there is some urgency. Again I'm speaking for myself, but I think what we all want is to see Golovkin get his rightfully deserved crack at the WBC/lineal title, the other belt as well if possible, and then do whatever (look at 168 (not against Hopkins, I mean make a permanent move)). If he can't get those fights soon, like by the end of this year, he's got to make a move or do something because time is against him.

GGG fan's shamlessness knows no bounds.

Dont worry about it though, there is no chance GGG will ever fight either guy, so you can keep believing that crap.

No, I'm not in the least bit ashamed of stating the obvious truth - BHop proved in his last fight that he can still go 12 rounds with a dangerous top-class opponent.

Ward's last fight proved only one thing - that he isn't sure himself if he can still compete at world-class level. Otherwise, why would he have bothered with the likes of Paul Smith, at a catchweight?

Did GGG say he would fight Ward at 164 before or after Ward said that he would come down to 160 for Floyd?
