To be fair GGG aint no BS fighter he is no easy beat for anyone not having a amateur pedigree and the power that he has , but youre right he hasnt fought an elite fighter yet , he is no spring chicken and should have stepped up to Ward and back to Canelo , if those fights were under his belt we would know all about GGG and we normally do with any 34 yr old thats great .

I think it is telling that HBO is willing to allow for a mandatory defense against a Haymon fighter when it feels it's interests are at danger but won't allow for it other times.

Furthermore Golovin fans need to be honest with themselves. Let's say Golovin gets the Canelo fight, beats Canelo, then what? Who's he fighting? These mandatory national level guys like Heiland, Wade, and Johnson. Or a gatekeeper like Lee? A bulk of the top talent from 154 to 168 is with Haymon. And unless that changes drastically in the near future, those are the fights we are gonna wanna see.
