Comments Thread For: Team Postol: We're Ready, Crawford Taking The Easier Route!

The last we saw of Victor Postol (28-0, 12KO), he scored a shocking tenth round stoppage of the usually sturdy Lucas Matthysse on the night of October 3rd at the StubHub Center in Carson, California. In doing so he picked up the vacant WBC 140-pound title.

Id say HBO was the one that said to Crawford Postol is no deal , they want it to build a little .

They say they want Postol back in April, but that would give Crawford less than 2 months to prepare after the Lundy fight. Push his return back to the mid or late May. That would give Crawford 2.5-3 months and would set up a fight for the lineal JWW crown.

HBO would be foolish to let Postol go to another network. The fight was kinda dull against mathysee but at least it ended in an unexpected ko

didnt both wlads last fights did over 1mil in viewers? and the fury one was in the afternoon nonetheless. Since GB is close with wbc im sure they'll bump up Ali or Herrera in the rankings. Hell even provo or crawford would be a good fight.

daggum, you're a moron! "Not even from the states"? Who cares where a fighter is from? I want to see good fighters and great fights. Where they are from is irrelevant.

Postol with his style would make Crawford look amateurish. Crawford can only fight midgets and jorneymans. Arum is scared Postol beats Crawford before Paqciuao fight happens
