i shouted for MAB when they fought due to the fact he was a ****y arrogant ****, but I have to take issue with some of the things said on this thread, he was not a protected fighter nor a bum, he held the WBC WBO and IBF belts in the 90's do your research you ignorant joke. Keep embarassing yourself idiot.
He was undoutedly the featherweight of the 90's universally acclaimed as so.
He was way past his peak when he fought barerra, not in terms of age but in retrospect in his career, he had split fomr his trainer and long term mentor Brendon Ingle and was never the same fighter. In a similar way as tyson wasnt post Cus passing away.
He started to believe his own hype and while he was soundly beaten by MAB it would have been interesting to have seen him in with Marco while he was still with Ingle.
I couldnt stand Hamed, but you shouldnt let his personality get in the way when judging his undoubted talent.
