I mean, the guy was incredible to watch, but he was beyond the point of tolerance when it came to his antics. When did his career end?

Was the fact that Naz was so forcefully Islamic a large part of people disliking him?

I dont think anyone really cares when they're in the ring, as long as they can fight. I always thought the guy was a ****, but i couldnt give a **** about his religion.

This is what happens, to most flashy, exciting boxers, they get hated on, cause people feel excluded, guys hate their popularty. Being ****y is a part of fighting, I'am with Toney when he said something, along the lines of, "how can they let, an ugly midjet write about boxing".Last edited by IwatchBoxing; 01-31-2005, 08:22 PM.

No Brother, his religion doesn't have anyhting to do with me disliking the guy. It's his antics and arrogance in and out of the ring that pisses me off.Last edited by psychopath; 01-31-2005, 08:27 PM.

Hearing the commentary on the Kevin Kelley fight last night there were plenty of between-the-lines digs at Naz's Easternism dressed up as light asides by Merchant.
Did this wind people up?
....I hated him because of his hip/hop showman bull**** style that had no substance. It also didn't help me to like him anymore knowing he was Islamic.

Ali was Islamic too and was one of the ****iest, most arogant fighters of all time. I'm starting to see a pattern here

**** that, naz was a wannabe. MAB exposed him, Naz had talent, but he can't compare himself to Ali - Ali is in a different league, the prince can't hold Ali's jock
