Was the fact that Naz was so forcefully Islamic a large part of people disliking him?

I always got this impression. Naz's religion was "in your face" even in a time before anti-Islamism was fashionable.

Hearing the commentary on the Kevin Kelley fight last night there were plenty of between-the-lines digs at Naz's Easternism dressed up as light asides by Merchant.

He wasn't ****y after that Catholic Mexican Warrior MAB humbled him.. Naz is a coward with no heart.. All those years he was acting like an asz in thering just shows me it was a front. That was all nervous energy.. Otherwise, he would have tried to avenge his loss to MAB..

I disliked the guy to hell and I didn't even know he was ******! Religion has nothing to do with it. It's his ****yness or arrogance that turned people off.
