You know what I can't understand..... ?
A guy who recently stated that he can beat any fighter at 154, and happens to be desperate for top-level exposure considering his recent PPV flopped..... walking away from a huge payday rather than fighting a genuine star who he said that he could beat.
I will never fkn figure that one out LMAO
And re the comment of mine you have in your sig: Canelo fights in the same division as Golovkin, and is actually the bigger of the 2 men. He entered the ring at 175 for his last fight while GGG was only 170 for Lemieux.

No, Canelo cannot make 154 easy, or he would have
If Canelo can make 154 easy, then why was 162 draining him two years ago.
I doubt Canelo wants the fight at 155. They know he would be better served at 157-160.
I wouldn't be at all surprised this fight is at 160.

This was rehashed after Cotto complained GGG should never have been a mandatory, because he was the champ of another division. WBC came out and said that same rule led to Cotto having a shot at Martinez.

Canelo and GBP want no part of GGG. He barely beat a much smaller fighter like Cotto and wasn't able to hurt him. GGG would walk him down and give him a severe beating. GBP will protect the only fighter that can make them money.

GGG might want to agree to a catch weight, with a caveat of both of them not being over 168 comes fight night. If Canelo is a "small" middleweight, he should have no problems fighting at SMW limit, right?
