Where does Roc Nation Sports go from here?

Two fights into their deal with their biggest star and he's dispatched. Cotto will never headline another PPV. I can't think of a fighter I'd want to see him fight. He's had a good career but it's time to hang him up unless he wants to become a gatekeeper.

Rigo was trash. This was his time to shine and he stunk up the joint.

Ward is still doing tune-ups. I can't wait for the Kovalev fight but in the meantime they're gonna have to pay him a lot of money while he fights tune-ups.

They invested a lot of money into these three fighters and I don't see how they'll get their money back.

Yeah it still puzzles me how they were willing to pay so much for Cotto. Anyone could see he was on the tail end of his career with only a couple of fights left until he lost against Canelo/GGG etc...

      1. Attract youn talent and use Rigo and Cotto to build their names.

      2. Focus on Andre Ward

Automatic fail. Imagine a casual fan watching Ward?

I think Cotto signed a 3 fight deal with roc nation and last night was his second fight of the deal. They should be able to find him a 3rd fight.

But investing in Ward and Rigo is just so dumb.

What they really need to do is use their money to sign young talent but their strategy has been horrible since they started.

Rigo clearly still has business left to do.
Cotto I'm unsure on his contract with Roc-nation like does he have a set number of fights remaining or is it flexible free as you go type of deal.
Ward still is there they will need to heavily invest in this guy on advertisement and hope he doesn't fail at 175.

RIGO gets beat up by Lomo and Ward gets Beat by Kovalev and they disappear into obscurity hopefully. They signed 2 boring azz but talented fighters. They should have went with crowd pleaser a that sell tickets.

Depends how deep their pockets are and whether they run a substanstial profit on these events, they may be able to eat up their fighters losses.

I don't think Cotto is done in terms of ability, but yeah, who do I really want to see him fight now, and what's at stake? Rigondeaux seems so totally oblivious to the fact boxing is a spectator sport, it's hard to imagine him headlining any fight, even a Lomachenko bout, at best that's going straight to Boxing After Dark in some small auditorium somewhere.
